The same posters are up at bus stops on the Finchley Road. Lots of changes happening on the Finchley Road - sorry I forgot that was in 2017!!! Back to 2019, so what changes could these posters refer to? I shall answer my own question, there is only one change that affects buses on the Finchley Road , one extra peak hour bus on the 46 and I am not sure that extra journey will even serve these stops. Same notices are down here in Brixton as well - there is one where just the 3 runs out of the affected Brixton routes but rather than mention the one route, just a vague & generic poster. Those posters at on at least 75% of stops between Brixton & Crystal Palace

It is the 53. Unfortunately they've included the stops towards Plumstead Station. Always good to confuse people. Very generic and pretty pointless posting. A simple Route 53 will no longer run beyond Lambeth North after........ would be easy to understand. The same posters are up at bus stops on the Finchley Road. What a pointless exercise just like the same meaningless posters being put on 468 stops in Croydon all because one stop at Elephant & Castle is changing.

It's the first I've heard of this?

It's the first I've heard of this? I believe the 468 is going to use the stand space vacated by the 388 and the 171 will use the stand space vacated by the 468 to make interchange with other buses to and from Holborn easier.

Sad to think that people used to do some excellent communication with their customers. Dire nowadays. Thanks Mike Brown.

With the 10 May edition failing to appear, we have once again missed an entire fortnightly cycle. So attention now moves to the 24 May edition... which should have been out today. And with Monday being a bank holiday, it looks like Tuesday at the earliest.

In which case it is necessary to inform 468 passengers wishing to transfer to a 68 , as some will do, that they must do so somewhere prior to the Elephant. Of course, the notice doesn't explicitly state this, but hey ho...

According to LOTS newsletter, the one extra journey will be Kentish Town to Barts, so no joy to anyone on the Finchley Road.

It would make more sense if the poster did explicitly state that but either way few, if any, people in Croydon are likely to be interested in this minor change. Worst case scenario and somebody finds themselves deposited in Newington Causeway rather than London Road it's hardly a catastrophe.

Well, I'd find it vexatious, though not a catastrophe, but the London bus traveller has to steel themselves to many vexations, apparently.

The two stops are barely a stones throw apart, a minor inconvenience at worst.

You have a point, but to be quite honest people have complained on here about TFL not putting up information and now that they have people complain?

Some stops still have Posters showing Cashless Buses which was from 6th July 2014 and some buses still carry year of the bus logos.
