My expectation is that the bus station would be remodelled to allow two way flows so 25s from Ilford will come round what is now the gyratory and stop on the shopping centre side of the road and then head off westwards. I think buses that terminate at Stratford and which come round the Broadway now would probably stay there to give some coverage but some routes would be tweaked as to how they run through Stratford. A complete guess on my part but I can't see three lanes of road by the bus station being given up to nothing when it affords TfL a unique chance to get some routes running much closer to the station for interchange than is currently possible. The only issue is how you provide a balance of access to shops on both sides of the current gyratory - you can easily see that some shopkeepers will howl if bus stops go / fewer services stop and there is less passing trade. Even so the current way of running buses through Stratford is a complete mess if you want to interchange between certain services or change between bus and rail. Shame the local paper doesn't seem to quite understand that the funding is just to try and progress the design a bit further. It'll be several years before anything is built and is subject to the next Mayoral election.

25 missing Stratford may help disperse passengers a bit more evenly, The 86 runs often enough to cope with taking the passengers into and out of Station for Ilford while 25 can head to and from the big smoke
