Tower Transit haven't been around that long so this is a surprise. I wonder if Abellio will do the same considering that they are refusing to give us our pay increase on January because of the Sector Wide Negotiations (SWN) despite all parties agreeing to the 2 year deal. We already had the increase early this year.

Apparently the Tower Transit dispute is mainly due to them wanting to get the driver's off the old First contracts.

Not sure if it's been reported yet, but tomorrow's planned strike by Tower Transit is cancelled as both sides have agreed to go to ACAS.

I would have thought there was a strike after both sides have already met via ACAS I suspect that the holiday break hasn't helped matters and I also suspect TfL have been "leaning" on the parties in the background to get them around a table in front of ACAS. Despite all the "we don't negotiate terms and conditions" speak from TfL they have no desire to see strike action on the bus network because it throws out all of the stats and targets that TfL are measured against and it means lots of angry passengers.
