click hereCyclist in hospital after collision with bus in west London I worry when people make comments suggesting the road should be 20mph as if that will miraculously solve the issue.

After almost being hit by a stupid cyclist who went through the red light today they should all be banned or be forced to take highway code tests and have a Bike Licence or walk.

Like DLA380, bikes should be restricted to 5mph...

Let's not have all this anti cyclist nonsense again, it's the person on it not the bike. Does anybody really think law abiding motorists suddenly turn into demented moron when they get on a bike or vice versa?

I support cycling but to be honest, it is usually cyclists who break the law from my experiences.

click hereCyclist in hospital after collision with bus in west London I worry when people make comments suggesting the road should be 20mph as if that will miraculously solve the issue. In sandal - wearing vegan Islington where they have their beloved 20mph roads, on streets such as near Sadlers Wells it's a nightmare when all the cyclists surround you en-masse trying to race like the last leg of the Tour de France... yet when I stop at a red light and the majority sail right thru, or at even bad intersections like Farringdon Road, get off, and wheel the bike part way thru the red light, it's like they are a law to themselves. If one flouts basic traffic laws and wants to 'live on the edge', they shouldn't be surprised if some of their ilk die on the edge... harsh to say but true. Lower speed limits actually raise pollution as engines stay in lower gears at higher revs, that goes for both manual and auto boxes... sadly it will be a cyclist town planner who will foist a 20 limit on us all in Hounslow
