is anyone here having issues with Sky Broadband over the last week? my speed is gradually getting worse - almost feels like dial up!
Never had any real issues with Sky until this week....

Used to have Sky but it kept giving me constant problems so ditched it in 2013 for Virgin and hardly had problems since

Cheers I have spoken to a few family members seems there is a local issue (East London) as in the last week as we have all been affected - I really can't be bothered even phoning Sky and going over all the silly have you tried this.... that.... Hopefully it will settle back down in a few days

Sky kept on giving me issues, it never worked properly and was slow. Now with Virgin the Internet is far better still have occasional issues but it was worth the change

I don't have Sky Broadband. I have BT Infinity but with fibre optic actually to my flat rather than to the street and then over copper for the last bit. It took months of wrangling with the Managing Director's Office and the special "VIP" customer service team to actually get it installed and working after I placed the order. Barely anyone in BT understands the FTTP product so raising any sort of query or fault causes huge problems as you might as well be talking Martian. I am currently battling BT about my line rental - for some reason BT's website believes I don't have a BT phone line. You couldn't make it up. When it works it's great but every so often it's all over the place speed wise on wifi (all other things unchanged as to the set up in my flat). It was reduced to a comparative crawl earlier this evening which I find puzzling given I have a high speed connection. I guess there must be something at the exchange or on BT's servers causing the snail like performance.
