O no not "another" bus rally We are being spoilt now - This is turning out to be a better year of the bus than 2014

O no not "another" bus rally We are being spoilt now - This is turning out to be a better year of the bus than 2014 As the second strike runs partly on a Friday, that means I can go up to Central London for a few rides - fingers cross that Scania Cityzen comes out on the 8 again lol.

BBC London are reporting that ASLEF will NOT strike on these dates.
It also seems that LU has dropped the 12 September start date so we can wave goodbye to the related night bus changes on the same date. The introduction will be at a later unspecified date.

RMT workers on First Great Western are planning to strike on 23, 29 until 31 August 2015.

With ASLEF not striking, we may see a patchy service on some lines. I'm thinking a limited stop service on the Northern and a Seven Sisters to Brixton on the Victoria for example.

Not if all the power control room and signal control room staff are out. I know we have ATO but you still need people in control rooms. You also need stations to be open! The other unions could stop any train running / station running.
