Hope all are ok - sadly, the lamppost that got hit was the sole survivor of when Crystal Palace Town Centre got new lights in conjunction with the introduction of the one way system in the mid 00's.

I never knew that was one of the 'survuving' lamps from previous. Been a while since I went up that particular street so I'm a bit out of date with the lamps, except with Church Road were the 1950s/60s lamps had their replacements erected next to them. Thank goodness the incident wasn't a lot worse and hoping the lady treated on sight is well on the road to recovery. Seem to have a recent trend of single deckers veering off the road for one reason or another.

Seem to have a recent trend of single deckers veering off the road for one reason or another. It was a column erected on the Lambeth side of Westow Hill during the 90's to replace a former decorative column which were all removed from Central Hill, Crown Dale & Westow Hill during the late 90's. Up until a few years ago, it had a Thorn Alpha 8 on top but was replaced by a Urbis ZX2. The number of road incidents involving buses seems to be really increasing for whatever reason.
