Oh dear these WHV's aren't having much luck, re the recent incident on the 93 Looks as though the lorry has turned right across the path of the bus, I wonder if the bus driver had headlights on and the lorry driver thought he was flashing him to go?

The driver would defiantly have the dipped headlights on

My thoughts are with both the drivers. Thankfully no one was seriously hurt and the driver of the 202 and all the passengers were able to alight the bus safely.

At basildon, we have some new streetlites with automatic headlights, and they are down right dangerous! Your driving along with headlights off on a bright sunny day, you go under a tree, sensor picks up change in light conditions, and headlights come on!!! I have had a few near misses where people pull out when the headlights come on because they think i'm flashing them out.

I totally agree, I've seen numerous misunderstandings where a driver has thought they were being flashed to go and that may well have been the cause of this incident.

This was the one which was at Q at the open day! The damage looks very bad, but glad to hear that there were no serious injuries.
