Would this have been the longest route at the time? It was only on Sundays and it lasted for only a short time serving Richmond, Hammersmith, Kensington, West End and City. I guess finding a timetable for a 1935 route would be impossible.

In the 1940 bus map the summer extensions from Hampton Court to Palmers Green (112) and Archway (27a) would come close; as they both ran through Bushy Park I suspect that at some point they would have been withdrawn when the park was taken over for military purposes. There was also a 73 extension to Stoke Newington via Kingston. At that time the summer extension of the 93 from Putney to Dorking was quite a long haul.

Ians bus route page shows the via points.(It's the Hammersmith & Hounslow one.) Although there wasn't much private traffic as nowadays, can't image doing that route with no power steering and a crash gearbox

To do that journey today:
8 from Old Ford to Tottenham Court Road 10 from Tottenham Court Road to Hammersmith 33 from Hammersmith to Teddington and finally R68 from Teddington to Hampton Court
Or 33 to Twickenham then 110 to Hounslow
Had cash fares still been around, that would set you back a hefty £10!
Modern bus routes are ridiculously short.

1940 had the 35 running from Clapham Common to Chingford Hatch via the current 35 to Shoreditch, the 48 to Hackney, the 56 to Shernhall Street & the W16 to Chingford Hatch.

Route 35 - 1958 Red Book Depart Clapham Common 07:00 - Arrive Chingford Hatch 08:31. 91 minutes for one fare. Route 23 - 2016 TFL Website Depart Westbourne Park 13:00 - Arrive Liverpool Street 14:20. 80 Minutes for one fare. This is what is on the TFL website. I understand traffic in Westminster and The City of London can be a nightmare most days, but TFL should update the journey time between 13:00 and 23:00 (or maybe 18:00) Monday - Friday to about 140 - 160 minutes, seeing as this is what it takes for an end to end journey on the 23. Last week, I boarded a 23 at Golborne Road to Liverpool Street at 14:00, and, in the end the journey ended at 16:28. (the 159 can also be dreadful most times as it once took me nearly 100 minutes to get from Marble Arch to County Hall).
