When I heard it, it reminded me of when the 97 bus crashed into McDonalds. It was virtually impossible to not know about it if you were in Walthamstow that week.

I thought she fell asleep at he wheel. I remember when that happened. Bus just styed on full left lock from turning into Hoe Street heading to Chingford, emd result was it demolished the front of Mc Donalds.

I don't know how it exactly happened, all I remember that the driver was ill. But what you said about the driver falling asleep at the wheel is probably how it happened.
