Saw this on the lunchtime news. Glad to hear no-one was seriously injured!

Don't see how that could happen as easy as that unless the driver was ill or something similar. At least the bus wasn't in service.
When I heard it, it reminded me of when the 97 bus crashed into McDonalds. It was virtually impossible to not know about it if you were in Walthamstow that week.

That 97 must of been: a) Hungry or b) sick of those idiot kids terrorising people The real reason was that the driver was ill and as she turned from Selborne Road to Hoe Street towards Chingford, it did an anticlockwise U-turn right into McDonalds. It happened at 6 oclock in the morning, couldn't have been sick of children already. The bus must of been hungry to eat the whole frontage of the restaurant. If I was the driver, I would have driven to the counter to get a Sausage McMuffin with a Hash Brown. Jokes aside, in the end the driver apparently had a heart attack.

That's sad to hear - I hope he recovered.

I thought she fell asleep at he wheel. I remember when that happened. Bus just styed on full left lock from turning into Hoe Street heading to Chingford, emd result was it demolished the front of Mc Donalds.
