Stagecoach South have an outstation in Guildford, so might use that, rotating the buses from main depot I believe Stagecoach South are run from Chichester Wonder if enviro300s will appear again in Kingston, they were used by TGM on 726 (now X26) We're they not Volvo/Alexander 300s? Yes, I had brain fade, enviro300s aren't that old, would have been ALX300s

Indeed, they were Volvo B10BLE's with ALX300 bodies.

The new LSP is now available, the new applications for the replacement operators and services are listed, there is a link against each one to the consultation with details (note these consultations are not listed on the main TFL consultation hub), use the links to know more about what is proposed, vehicle size etc. If you are bored could always comment on the consultation, but be quick, some are open only 7 calendar days. content.tfl.gov.uk/lsp-bulletin.pdfAs example Stagecoach applying for max length of 10.8m and Falcoln max length of only 8.8m, Gastonia opting for max 7m but Hallmark going for max 12m buses There are plenty of other changes including alterations to Kingston University services in the LSP

Carlone buses is interesting- I wonder what buses they will use on the 442 given that on their website they claim have 'a Mercedes bus with electric front door entry' Basically they don't have any low floor buses.

The minibuses Carlone have are equipped with wheelchair lifts. I wouldn't be surprised if they use similar on the 442.

First berkshire website now confirms that they will be operating the 555 from the 31 December And looking at the timetables, appears Heathrow airport is supporting some night services from Sunbury Cross at about 67 minute intervals, starting 03:08 in morning. There are a couple of supported late evening services to Sunbury as well. Must go empty to/from Sunbury

First berkshire website now confirms that they will be operating the 555 from the 31 December I believe it will be inter-worked off one of their existing Heathrow routes.

Forgot to mention that the 715 has been added to bus stops from Esher to Guildford but not at the Friary Bus Station - I never checked any Surrey Bus Stops between Esher & the borough of Kingston. I believe all TfL bus stops it serves have been done as well.
I spotted all this myself last Thursday

First have been driver training all day today, using a 63 plate E200. Looking forward to seeing them operate in my area.

I just hope SCC sought out the Discovery Ticket acceptance, it will be useless if I can't ride half of the routes anymore that were supported by operators. Looking back at my recent Berkshire/Buckinghamshire visit makes me wish councils would take a more powerful position regarding fares. A standardised fare system such as those used in Germany would work very well.
