SW and AF buses have them now too. Seen on WVL 165 and LT508 amongst others today... "coming October 2016" It really doesn't leave much space for luggage at all!! Luggage? Daaaaaarrrrrllllliiiiinnnnngggg what a tedious thing to have to provide for. Far better that we earn more money from distributing useless day old news, gossip, adverts and quizzes than provide useful facilities for passengers. Think of the WONGA not shopping bags and cases. Lol If you have luggage you use an Uber, dear Saw one of these holders on an LT on the 88 this lunchtime, caught a quick ride up Regent Street

WVL199 on the 616 with a Metro holder in the luggage area stating "coming soon". Anyone know what this is about? It will be a blue holder which is filled up with free Metro newspapers on the morning run out. Metrobus and B&H have been doing it for a long long time! Who's meant to fill them up in the mornings, the drivers?

It was a 0400 start and tge first half was putting the free papers on the buses before they left. Used to get filthy doing it only good point was the shift finished at 12 ish

Who's meant to fill them up in the mornings, the drivers? The papers are delivered early morning direct to the depot from Metro they are then put on the buses by whomever is doing the morning run out

Well, they are so small these days, I don't think it will make a difference Lol If you have luggage you use an Uber, dear Saw one of these holders on an LT on the 88 this lunchtime, caught a quick ride up Regent Street And here's another pic: Some of them seemed to be secured by straps, others by screwing them into the base of the luggage area.

And here's another pic: they must be catching on saw one one the arriva route 300 today. Arriva route 300? Is it in London? Funnily enough I did ride the GAL 300 and route D6 last night which both had the Metro box. Seeing them in other cities on buses is an eye sore quite frankly, not to mention the little luggage space reduced even further by something that will only serve its purpose [of holding newspapers] for a short amount of time a day. But hey, this is the stuff TfL reinvest their profits into "to improve [our] services."

C have started to fit them on their buses, 713 had the holders in place when I had it on route 359 on Thursday. I'm guessing that the buses are stocked with Metro papers before the buses go out each morning, but unlike on the trains, passengers won't receive the Evening Standard in the evening.
