Is it possible to do Ealing Broadway Hounslow and Hammersmith in a day. Is there good photo opportunities at Hounslow?

Quite easily, around what's left of bus station in Hounslow is probably the best place for photographs.

Is it possible to do Ealing Broadway Hounslow and Hammersmith in a day. Is there good photo opportunities at Hounslow? Easily but it depends on how you like to take photos. At this time of year shadows get long pretty quickly on sunny days which can cause problems. However it's possible at Ealing Broadway to get all the terminating routes at any time of day because they all go east, west and north to south around Haven Green. Through routes on the main road are a little more difficult. Hounslow also offers east, west and north to south movements on all routes near Hounslow East. Hammersmith is a tad more difficult because of the heavy traffic and odd movements in and out of the bus station. Tube connections are very straightforward between all three places and are quick. You could probably throw in Shepherds Bush Green / White City too if you wanted to. It all depends on how you do your photography and how many buses you want to snap.

Is it possible to do Ealing Broadway Hounslow and Hammersmith in a day. Is there good photo opportunities at Hounslow? In Hounslow I would stand, depending on weather and building shadow, on the High Street at the junction of A315 and Laurence Road. May require some movement to avoid street furniture getting in the way but you should be clear of pedestrians and there is some good seating there. For me at Ealing it's got to be around Haven Green, south-east corner because many routes stand there. At off peak times the area around the station isn't very busy for kerbside shots and in Hammersmith you can take some good shots from around stop E in the bus station which is seldom used (coaches might stop there, they did a while ago but isn't used by regular buses, so you should be able to get good unobstructed shots of entering and turning buses, without pedestrian intrusion). Queen Caroline Street and Shepherds Bush Road are also fairly good. If you are looking to do all three in one day, start at Ealing or Hounslow if you are planning on using the tube, Hammersmith should be your interchange stopover. Have fun!
