Be warned the zip file for the press pack is huge - 806MB! The ADL display vehicles seem to be. 1. A E200MMC for Trent Barton in new Mickleover livery and interior design (for a busy Derby service) 2. A E400MMC Gas Bus for Reading Buses. 3. A refreshed design of Plaxton Elite tri-axle for Country Lion. 4. A BYD / E200MMC EV all electric bus - one of Go Ahead London's. 5. A E400MMC City double decker demonstrator to "Passenger Plus" spec with glass roof panels, tables upstairs, USB chargers. 6. A Plaxton Panther Executive on Volvo B8R chassis for Hodgson's Coaches. There is also some photos of buses for non UK markets including a huge E500MMC for Mexico City's Metrobus network. First time I've seen on of those.

Gal OM1 was in the forecourt if BX this morning so I highly doubt it will be at the expo There's an Optare Metrodecker (or whatever they're called) there, with London Central logos and TfL leaves livery blinded for the 36. Not sure if it's a demonstrator or OM1 tarted up a bit

Not sure if it's a demonstrator or OM1 tarted up a bit It's an electric demonstrator and it appears to have Go-Ahead moquette (it's blue but the pics aren't 100% clear). Also present are the leaves and the "I'm an electric bus" tagline In other news, ADL have pushed the boat out with what is undoubtedly the world's poshest Enviro400.

Not sure if it's a demonstrator or OM1 tarted up a bit Well I was half right about there being a GAL liveried Optare Metrodecker at the show. Interesting that Optare have clearly put some pace behind getting an EV version into London trial service. They're obviously keen to get some London orders for the Metrodecker. Remains to be seen if anyone else will be tempted by it or not. Really needs one of the big groups to take a shine to it but they all seem wedded to Streetdecks and E40Ds. Even Volvos seem less popular outside London than previously.

Volvo electric SRM launchInterestingly the speech suggests Volvo will pay for the street chargers and batteries, if this is the case then it will presumably be some sort of lease rental for the bus where the batteries and charger remain the property of Volvo. No idea how this compares with cost of diesel fuel or relative cost per month of diesel vs electric

There's no blagging involved. You fill in the form online and make it up as you go along. The "make it up as you go along" bit is the bit I struggle with to be honest. Not good at putting up a "front" which may get questioned even in an entirely innocent way. Anyway not to worry I'm sure you and plenty others will provide some good feedback and photos. You could say you're from Edmonton Garage and are looking for the stand where the B7TL aftermarket fan kits are being sold

I suspect the same probably applies to all other manufacturers who will no doubt have special connectors or something else "unique" about their designs. At some point operators are going to have turn round and say - standardised charging interfaces regardless of which vehicle type uses them. TfL are in a good position to start making these demands to avoid technology lock in and then obsolescence.
