Looks like its Abellio's 8101 or 8102 thats been involved! Damage looks repairable, but an engine change is required. This bus was due to be refurbished anyway, so I think it will be repaired

The others looked to be last used at 9pm. 8101/8102 are still red but with Abellio Surrey now, and Staines Road is crossed by the H26. The fire looked to have happened this afternoon.

Not very clear on the photo but if you zoom in, you can make up the fleet number as 8104, presumably a dead run to the H20 or (more likely) H26.

It was about to be withdrawn from London service soon, as the H26 has a new contract with new buses starting in January. Not sure whether they'd repair it or scrap it though.

8104 is marked as FireDam on LVF.

All depends on the cost of the repairs and the cost of said 10 year old bus - I've seen worse damaged older vehicles that have returned before.

www.getsurrey.co.uk/news/local-news/sunbury-tesco-lorry-bus-crash-12137535They ruined the front of one bus last week, and the rear of another yesterday. Maybe can make transfer the engine from the Sunbury crash and make one good bus However Abellio won't need as many buses in a few weeks so by time they are repaired would potentially be surplus anyway. Might be easier just to strip parts for spares for remainder of fleet.
