weirdly in the day Ibus on the 33 has the destination "Hammersmith Bridge" but at night when (N33) starts it has it as Castlenau.

The 209 ibus say Hammersmith Bridge but the blinds say Castlenau, Lonsdale road.
The 419 says Hammersmith bridge yet terminates quite a walk from the bridge.

I was on the 33 a few days ago and the iBus said “33 to Castelnau” while the blind showed “Hammersmith”. This was in the morning however so I assume the iBus has now been updated.

I had a look around there today. Loadings on the 72 from Roehampton to The Bridge are still healthy. This appears to mean if TfL cut the 72 south side totally, it would be a mistake. I don’t think everyone in Roehampton area would prefer to travel to Putney. Traffic on approaches to Putney and Chiswick bridges obviously worse. Works at Putney Bridge have taken out at least one space for a bus stand, and with Abellio drivers clogging up the 414 stand, there is no space for extra buses there.
The 209 still needs to run as does the 419. And the 33. It is a quandary.
Perhaps, the following would work.
N33 Diverted as per N72 to maintain link with Hammersmith Bus Stn at night. 72 Withdrawn Hammersmith Bus Stn to Roehampton. Diverted via 190 to West Brompton. This links two NHS trust hospitals together and maintains capacity along DuCane Road, N72 Would remain East Acton to Roehampton via the existing diverted route over Chiswick Bridge. 190 Withdrawn Hammersmith to West Brompton with additional running time added. 572 New route Hammersmith Bridge south side to Roehampton.

Do you think the 209 still needs to run to Hammersmith bridge? I think the 209 to Putney bridge station is a good idea as it connects Mortlake/Barnes with a tube line. As you said Putney Bridge is full so something would need to go.

Maybe the 265 to Wandsworth in place of the 485.

The route should serve the forecourt of Putney Bridge Station in both directions and do a double run via the Wetlands Centre. The 485 could be maintained running Castlenau-Wandsworth so that there is still at Barnes-Hammersmith Bridge connection but I'm not so sure that would be popular enough to be justifiable

Barnes to Hammersmith Bridge would still be maintained by the 33 and 72 so the need for the 485 would be severely reduced.

Prompted by the discussion of endless possibilities about adjusting services I thought I'd check what the status of the planned revisions to the 485 was. I'm surprised to see that TfL don't seem to have reached a conclusion on the revisions to the 485.
As a temporary adjustment I wonder if a merger of the revised 485 and the 419 would work giving a Wandsworth Riverside - Richmond service that would maintain a two way link to the south side of Hammersmith Bridge as well as serving Castlenau. Obviously causes problems for the Richmond area changes but I suspect they're dead for the foreseeable future or certain elements of them are. The 419's current frequencies exactly match those proposed for the amended 485.

Possibly any previously planned changes for the 485 are now on hold due to the Bridge as if the 209 gets diverted to Putney Bridge then the 485 really won't need an increase to every 15 mins. I think the Richmond changes could still go ahead with the 110 to Lonsdale Road like the 419 as all the changes hinge on each other. H37 cut needs the 110, 493 stands where the 419 does, H22 stands where the 110 does at Twickenham and TFL still need to save money and there are still way too many buses from Richmond to Manor Circus.

Iv lost track of the 110 now it's seems to keep changing. The 110 was extended from Twickenham to West Middlesex Hospital whilst at the same time cut back from West Middlesex Hospital to Hounslow so no longer serving London Road east of Hounslow.

The bus stops at Barnes Pond have been amended to show 419 along with the ones along Church Street. Looks like the 419 will divert off at Barnes Bridge Stn stop and follow the 209 to the Pond. Looks like the hail and ride section to Lonsdale will be lost which seems odd as it will leave those backstreets bus less. Also makes it just a carbon copy of the 209 from Avondale road to Barnes Pond.
I also saw the Barnes/Red Lion stop towards Hammersmith has a blue 72 nights only square yet the day 72 still dropped us off there.
