Do the new electroliners have McKenna Blinds? They look much nicer than the Hanover LED Blinds

I wonder if the new BCEs for the 295 have different LED Blind units, and hence the difference in appearance. I saw BCE47162/3 on the 183/H14 the other day, and the blinds are very different to the previous batch The earlier BCEs have McKenna LED displays I believe whereas the newer ones have Hannover ones. The blind controller is also different (some drivers have actually said the new controller is easier to use). The rumour is the type of blind was changed because of how unreliable the McKenna displays are. Thats a shame the McKenna ones are rumored to be unreliable, I much prefer the cleaner look on these displays, and look more like traditional blinds. Could also be down to cost?

I wonder if the 226 at BT is temporary.
Volvo might be able to advise on the number of chargers at BT?
I would have liked to see the 258 back at Sovereign.

Today marks the last day I'll ever drive the 142. Having grown up using the 142 to see family, it was always a route I wanted to drive and certainly pre COVID I enjoyed it. Post COVID hasn't been the same experience especially as the ADEs became terribl performance wise. Also the roads especially between Edgware and Brent Cross are like driving through the aftermath of a war zone, also the less said about alot of the passengers the better. I am glad I got to experience the route as a driver but I am not going to miss it. Myself and many of my colleagues think it would be a much better route if it either ran from Colindale Superstores or Edgware Station to Watford Junction. Also I believe today is possibly the last time I'll ever drive a ADE unless I get one on the 79 tomorrow. I am not going to miss those either. Agreed with this about the 142 curtailment, even getting to the bus station from the A5 intersection takes much longer than it should! I thought I saw something about TFL wanting to cut the 258 to Bushey, and the 142 retaining the Watford link. Cutting the route in Edgware or Colindale would help with an increased PVR. The question now is stand space, where would the buses park!

Why do Go Ahead's new LED Blinds on their Electric Buses look different to the examples from RATP? I much prefer the typeface on the RATP examples than the ones seen with Go Ahead

Is H14 at CP temporarily or permantly? Temporarily from what I've been told. Reported a while back. There is a double deck servicing shelter currently being built at SO. CP is also closed on 26/27/1/2, hence the more open intermixing between garages, as H14 drivers are collecting their buses from BT.

No idea but apparently there are now 4 subsidiaries; London United West, London United East, London Sovereign and London Transit. Nothing of this nature was mentioned at Andy Corbett's presentation to LOTS on Monday, which set out the company structure under RATP. Andy Corbett is leaving RATP, as a result of a change in the company org structure.

Its batch has to be built, delivered and registered. Also extra chargers at X has to be installed. I'd say by the end of winter time judging other garages from RATP. oh that's ok then, i was worried that it would happen in just a few weeks seeing as there are already a few BCEs already operating on it! Work begun at X around 5 months ago, it should be completed by now, hence the arrivals of some BCEs using the newly installed charging infrastructure Looks like Westbourne Park will begin its second phase of electrification later on in the year.

H14 is based at CP, which explains these workings. Since when? H14: SO > CP (Temporary whilst some work takes place at SO) There's a double deck maintenance facility being built at the garage. I believe Running Numbers are PR141+

BCE47131 started as well at SO today. Also ADH45289 and 90 are out on the 140 which might mean some BCEs are moving to BT today/tomorrow. Only 3 BCEs from 125s batch are out today at SO. H14 is based at CP, which explains these workings.

Looks like Watford Town Centre has been added, as well as Canons Corner. What's the difference between Colindale EDGWARE ROAD vs Colindale Superstores? I remember filming the ADE blindset like it was yesterday, time has flown by!
