(3 in total) R7: Orpington Walnut's Centre and Bickley Aquila Estate (2 in total) K5: Kingston Town Centre (crazy routing there) and Circle Gardens (2 in total) 366: Gallions Reach Shopping Centre, East Beckton Sainsbury's, Redbridge Station and Roundabout (3 in total)

I was thinking about routes with the most double runs. 186: Harrow Bus Station, Edgware Bus Station, Mill Hill Broadway Station, Quakers Course (4 in total) 224: Alperton Sainsbury's, Iveagh Avenue, Central Middlesex Hospital, Brent Park IKEA Area (4 in total) 410: Wallington Station, Towpath Way, Christie Drive (3 in total)
Are there anymore routes with numerous double runs, like the above the routes?

Yes this is true, most of these stations are in quite rural areas, where TfL wouldnt make any profit by running bus routes

The 95 converting to double deckers would be very useful from Yeading, Barnhill Estate to Shepherd's Bush. The already decked 482 should at least have a frequency increase. Perhaps extending the H32 instead of the 482 and then sending the 482 to Hayes & Harlington, instead of the proposed H32 (tfl are proposing this in the crossrail bus consultation)

I really can't see this happening in the future: the 95 can't be withdrawn between Greenford and Southall. The 105 and 95 are already struggling along that corridor, especially at peak times, really there should be an increase of service along the Allenby Road and Dormer's Wells areas. The E5 does provide a good, fast link, but uses very short 8.9 metre buses. These are definitely insufficient, as people are usually left behind at stops. The E5 always seems to be packed. 10.4 or even 10.8 metre buses would be amazing for the route. Also I don't think the 395 only will be sufficient enough for Cleveland Road - Ealing Broadway.

Is it confirmed that the Metroline has ordered VMH (Volvo B5LH MCV Evoseti Hybrid) buses rather than their usual VWH (Volvo B5LH Wright Gemini 3 Hybrid) buses for the 31, 274 and 30. If so, does anyone know why they haven't ordered from their trusted Wright. It would've been nice to see them order Volvo B5LH Enviro 400 MMC Hybrid buses, the wouldve probably be coded VEH or VTH.

DE1911 (the Metroline YX11CNY Enviro 200 that has the blue E6 route branding) is mostly on it's allocated route: the 95. Metroline should've carefully chosen that the bus they were selecting to go for the route branding, was actually allocated to the E6 and stays on the E6.

One route that never keeps with it's allocation is the 105, the route always has at least 3-5 VWH's (allocated to routes 120 and 7) everyday. It's allocated VW's (LK11***) are frequently seen on routes 297 and 90 as well. Two brand new VWH's allocated to route 90 (VWH2413 LK67ENY and VWH2384 LK67EKZ) have also made or are making appearances on route 105 recently.

Routes 228 and RV1 go from high frequency to low frequency routes, quite drastic cuts here! The 228 goes from 5bph to 3bph and the RV1 goes from 6bph to 3bph. The 224 is already at a low frequency and the frequency just drops even more! 4bph to 3bph! Feel sorry for all the residents on the 224 and 228 who actually rely on these routes. The RV1 has been slaughtered with roadworks for a few years now. Hardly anyone on the RV1 anymore. Going from 6bph to 3bph is quite a noticeable gap though? TfL should've trialed dropping the frequency to once every 15mins first at least, then maybe to 20mins, if they think the RV1 can cope with that.

Is there heavy demand for the N279 between Trafalgar Square and Manor House? I think it may be beneficial for TfL to axe route N279 and introduce a 24 hour service on route 279, if only there is demand for a night time service between Manor House and Waltham Cross? The N29 may need to be increased in frequency. The current N29 leaves Trafalgar Square every 8-10 mins and the current N279 leaves approx every 20 mins. The N29 may need to be increased to every 6-7 mins and the new 279N could operate at the same frequency as the current N279.

I've just realised: the 207, 607, 427 and N207 group. The N207 follows the 94 after Shepherd's Bush and then the various routes from Oxford Circus to Holborn. 140: Follows the 182 from terminus to Harrow Bus Station, follows the 114 to South Harrow, follows the 395 until Castle Road, follows the 90 until Dilston Close, follows the 696 and 697 until Willow Tree Lane, follows the E6 until Fairey Corner, follows the 90 again until Harlington Corner and then follows the 111 and 105 until Heathrow Central. H32: Follows 482 from terminus to Hounslow West, follows 81, 203, 222, H98 until Hounslow Bus Station. E8: Shares terminus with various routes, follows 207 and 427 until Boston Manor Road (shares Michael Gaynor Close with E3), follows the 195 until Brentford Half Acre, follows the 235 and 237 until Hounslow Treaty Centre, shares terminus with H22. The Northbound 483 has one stop that it serves individually: Manor Drive The southbound 483 does not serve one individual stop: Follows the 182 from Harrow Bus Station to Sudbury Court Road, follows the 245 until Rosslyn Crescent, follows the 79 and 204 until Park Lane, follows the 83 until Alperton Station, follows the 487 until Cleveley Crescent, follows the 112 until Ealing Broadway Station, follows the 427 and 207 until Half Acre Road, shares Ealing Hospital Terminus with 92 and 282. 254: Follows route N253 for whole route or follows 25 from terminus to Whitechapel Station, follows route 106 to Hackney Central, follows route 253 to Nag's Head 253: Follows route N253 for whole route or follows route 254 from terminus to Nag's Head, follows route 29 to Mornington Crescent, follows route 168 to Euston. 279: Follows route N279 for whole route or follows route 327 from terminus to Turkey Street, follows route 121 to Ponders End, follows route 349 to Edmonton Green, follows route 259 to Manor House terminus. N279: follows route N29 from terminus to Manor House, follows route 279 to Waltham Cross. 259: shares terminus with route 59, follows route 91 to Nag's Head, follows 29 to Manor House, follows 279 to Edmonton Green. 149: Follows route 48 to from London Bridge to Liverpool Street, follows route 242 to Dalston, follows routes 243, 67, 76 to Stamford Hill, follows route 349 to Edmonton Green. 217: from Turnpike Lane Terminus it follows the 231 until Lincoln Road, follows 317 until Waltham Cross. 231: from Turnpike Lane Terminus it follows the 217 until Lincoln Road, follows 307, 121, 313 until Enfield Chase Station. 317: shares Little Park Gardens Terminus with 192, 329 and N29, follows the 307, 121, 313 until Enfield Retail Park, follows 217 until Waltham Cross. 12: from terminus it follows the 197 to Peckham Town Centre, follows the 171 to Elephant & Castle, follows the 453 to Oxford Circus terminus.

I was thinking about bus routes that share every single one of there stops with another bus route. I've got the Route 241: Follows the 308 from Stratford City to Stratford, then follows the 262 and 473 until Plaistow High Street, then follows the 325 until Freemasons Road/ Leslie Road, then follows the 147 and N551 until Canning Town Bus Station, then finally follows the 276, 300, 330, 5, N15, 115 until the terminus at Hermit Road.
Route 105: Follows the 92, E6, 95 from Greenford Station (Greenford Roundabout for 95) to Greenford Broadway, then follows the E6, 282, 95, E9, E7, N7 until Beechwood Avenue, then follows the 95 all the way to Southall Town Hall, then follows the H32, 482, 120, E5 and 195, follows the 195 all the way until Wentworth Road, then follows the H28 until Cranford Community School, then follows the 111 only to Bath Road and then finally follows the the 111, 81, 222, 423, N9, 140, 285 until Heathrow Central. (the 81 and 423 don't serve Heathrow Central) What other routes can you think of that don't serve a bus stop by themself?

Yes indeed, the 331 starts in Greater London, then ventures out into Buckinghamshire and ends in Greater London, it's shaped like an upside down U. Between Uxbridge and Ruislip Stations it is 48 stops on the very indirect 331 (14 miles and takes about 45- 65 mins to complete) Approx 15 stops and a H&R section on the slightly indirect U10 (4.5 miles and takes about 25- 30 mins to do) 16 stops on the most direct U1 (approx 2 miles and takes about 10- 15 mins to do) Or you could just take the Metropolitan or Piccadilly Lines, as you mentioned, which will only take 6 mins and 3 stops. The E200 MMC's intended for the 487 can't go on that route as the long 10.9 metre bus would stick out on to the carriageway, when the bus is making a turn, can't remember which turn it is prohibiting the buses to go on the 487. Most of the time the 331 uses the LK65*** DEL2145- DEL2154 batch. These are of the classic E200 design. The buses originally ordered for the 487 are E200 MMCs and are allocated to routes U2 and U3, but they do make frequent appearances on route 331
