Anyone know when the new model will be available here? They've already started selling them in Hong Kong, but not here yet.

Metroline have been approached by Northcord to do a model of one of our E400 MMCs as well. A representative should be visiting us within a couple weeks for a shoot.
Still early stages though, however I'm hoping this may be some leverage to get them to do one of our E200 MMCs too ...

They were supposed to produce some E400H City’s as well, so maybe Arriva and CT Plus are being visited by them. I also hope they produce the E200MMC, or even better the E20D Enviro 200’s. Hope these new models prove to be successful for Northcord so they can keep on producing more. If they lowered the prices for them though, then more people would buy them. £48 for a model is a bit ridiculous, whereas Corgi only charge £30 for theirs, but then again Northcord’s models are of a much higher standard. CMNL models used to cost in the region of £29-35 but prices have raised because of inflation most likely.

I believe £48 was the pre-order price, this link showing the model now for £40, possibly a bit cheaper over time if some sellers flog via eBay. www.ttcdiecast.com/northcord-ukbus6501-adl-enviro400-go-ahead-london-e400h-eh108-yy66-ozp-95909-p.asp

Northcord Model Company have announced a whole new set of E400 MMC models recently. Some of the ones relevant to the London area are: UKBUS6509: Abellio London 2600 (route TBC) UKBUS6515: Metroline TEH2087, route 332
Definitely going to get the Abellio one.

Reading Buses MMC 748 which was due in February should be available in not to long as samples have been made in may and have probably been approved I have just pre-ordered my Reading Buses MMC from Yardley Wood Bus Club, £40 + £3 p&p and they reckon I should have it in 4-6 weeks. Incidentally there are now two versions of this model: UKBUS 0061 is the original planned variant (and was originally going to be released as UKBUS 6505), displaying route "17 Tilehurst / via Oxford Road" and carries "proud to run one of Britain's bus services" between decks. UKBUS 0062 recalls 758's use on Green Line 702 earlier this year and displays "702 Langley Slough Windsor / Legoland Windsor" whilst carrying Green Line route branding between decks. The model is highly detailed (as you would expect from Northcord), the main flaw being that it is based on the 10.9m variant of the MMC whereas 758 is 11.5m in reality. I can live with that. There will be 1008 releases of model 0061 and 504 releases on model 0062. Other new releases that have been announced: UKBUS 6506 : First West of England 33960 (SN65 ZCU) route 1 Broomhill - already released UKBUS 6507A/B : Bluestar 1641 (HF66 CFM) route 1 Winchester/Southampton - October UKBUS 6508A/B : National Express West Midlands 8643 (SN66 WFM) route X1 Coventry/Birmingham - November Planned models awaiting final approval (routes and destinations to be confirmed): UKBUS 6509: Abellio London 2600 (YY67 GZW) UKBUS 6510: Yellow Buses (Bournemouth) 200 (SN17 MTO) UKBUS 6511: Stagecoach West Scotland 10930 (SN67 XAY) UKBUS 6512: Southern Vectis 1660 (HW67 AHY) UKBUS 6513: Stagecoach South 10892 (YX67 VCE) UKBUS 6514: First in Glasgow 33982HB (SN65 OFX) UKBUS 6515: Metroline TEH2087 (LK15 CUH)

Any news if 200 MMC will be produced? No news aside from the Model 1 announcement I quoted some months ago. Don’t expect to see their E200 MMC model until well into 2019 at the earliest.

I now have my Reading Buses model - they were delayed as apparently the company were not satisfied with the original positioning of the fleetname.
It was worth the wait. The model is superb and very well detailed.

Does anyone reckon mabye northcord will release a RATP E400H MMC? It has got to have one of my favourite moquette and I love the red trim I wouldn't bet on it - London is already well represented in Northcord's E400 MMC range with Go-Ahead, Stagecoach, Abellio and Metroline examples either planned or already available. The detailing does not stretch as far as reproducing the pattern of the moquette.
