Deep condolences to all affected.
Terrorists want you to live your life in fear. They want you to think twice before going about your normal activities. Do not let them. On Friday, I will be playing in a concert in the City. I am still totally going to be there, and I expect a large crowd watching too. We must not be cowed.
Take care of yourselves, and those you love.

Absolutely tragic! It is a shame that people think it is okay to terrorise our city or any city like this.
LONDON IS OPEN, BUT NOT FOR TERRORISM!

On Saturday I will go to Westminster during my bus travels to pay respect to the victims, before continuing my bus trip as I usually would. Even though I was only 5, I still remember the panic and fear the 7/7 attack created. This has done the same, however to a lesser extent because our security forces were so well prepared (they were practising a boat hostage situation the other day) Those that criticise Sadiq Khans statement are wrong, terrorism is unfortunately the risk of living in a large city. Meanwhile there has been a blast in an arms depot in Ukraine with 20,000 evacuated...

I'm not his biggest fan but that Sadiq Kahn statement was not only said in September 2016 but as you correctly state, he said the threat or risk of terrorism is something people in big city's unfortunately have to live with. Sadly, we have stupid morons like Donald Trump Jr who rather than send a simple condolence message, decide to try and spectacularly fail in scoring points.
