Hopefully DW98/99 and 106 aren't scrapped at Hardwicks! Sometimes they keep buses aside, but generally the future of buses that go there is quite bleak. I remember they kept a bunch of ex Stagecoach tridents for a while, but after a while no sellers were found and they got scrapped. Same happened with a bunch of Metroline VPs there. |

Seems like all the ex 197 DW’s are ending up in East Anglia, good to see DW110 go to a new home, I had that on its final journey in service. Shame to see DW102 go straight for scrap though. DW103 and DW109 meanwhile were spares donors.
That Enviro200 Brighton and Hove have acquired is going to Metrobus

I do find Lynx's fleet very interesting - it has the largest fleet of Optare Tempos in the UK currently, and its DD fleet consists of nearly all DAF DB250s (Wright Pulsars & Optare Spectras). Then of course DW110/115 have just gone to A&P Travel, Cambs Although not in East Anglia, Peter Godward Coaches in Basildon have DW111/113 Some of the ex 197 DWs seem to have had bad luck just like most of the ex AC VPs - DW98/99/103/104/106/108/109 have all gone for scrap (Though 103/109 were spares donors anyway like you said). |
