Glad to see few of the withdrawn Stagecoach Omncitys to finally make their to Ensign dealer yard after few months of sitting at WH/RM doing nothing much. Hopefully more will come arrive in the next few months and eventually someone buys them. Combined with GAL and RATP Omnicitys it looks like plenty of Scanias are on sale at Ensign at the moment.
Looks like there is a high demand for ex Metroline TE's as lot of them have already been acquired so far.
The TEs have certainly had more luck then the VPs did a few months ago - Only TE720 went for scrap, unlike with the VPs where pretty much all were sold straight on for scrap. Tbh it's not too surprising to see the TEs sell so well, considering E400s are a type that was made up until recently (Standard type as in - Not MMCs, as they are obviously still in production) so plenty of parts for them. There is also certainly plenty of Scanias to choose from at the moment  No doubt more will go soon too. |
