This appears to be a nationwide Arriva move because all their vehicles in Wycombe have been fitted with the new wingmirror. On first sight I thought it was a great improvement!

It is a fleet wise Arriva thing, GAL tried it but I think they’ve gone back to normal mirrors now

There is a 160 e400 with it but I can't think of fleetnumber.

Only spotted today N's HVs received the mirrors too, HV283/296/302 I noted but probably a lot more done than I can note.

I have these split mirrors too on my Transit van (though not the yellow cover ) Excellent for getting out of tight spots as the lower mirror shows the back of the vehicle and the main one concentrates on the road. Might also help for any cyclist who dares to ride on the inside like they're not supposed to

Got a couple more vehicles added to the list today Arriva DW: 104, 107, 261, 264, 268, 507 HV: 329, 328, 354 T: 105, 112
Go ahead EH: 163, 167, 169
I also think WHV117 & 168 have them but I cannot say 100% that they have.

The new Metroline Vulgar Wright Hybrids and GAL Modern Horrible Volvos all have the new wing mirrors which are just so difficult to get used to.

Besides, the Metroline ones don't have it anyway. Also noticed whilst in Edinburgh that Lothian buses have been fitted with the new wingmirror which is really gaining industry-wide traction.

I’ve seen some of the new Metroline models with the new mirrors, I can’t say I like them but with all the accidents daily nationwide, it’s understandable that some action needs taking.

Personally I'm hoping we get them fitted to ours soon. Will make my mirror positioning alot easier and quicker 😂😂😂
