The 153 has seen the occasional CT Plus HTL in the past. Wow, any photos, I'd love to see that

359 - it has seen decker appearances not too long ago so can probably be crossed off Indeed, the decker run was done by yours truly and was proper fun. There were about 2 pretty tight turns though. Also, the parking in the Monks Hill area can be quite a pain but we were spared on the day I did it. Shame it's highly unlikely to ever happen again 223 and 224 have a low bridge believe. But don't quote me on it. H17 appears to have some trees. I know that this is a old post but what low bridge does the 223 and 224 use?

I would imagine the turn on Iveagh Avenue is what prevents the 224 from using DD's I can remember my ex telling me she used to see DD's going past her bedroom window as she was growing up - that was however when you could access Iveagh Ave from the North Circular Road.

How long ago was that? It would of been the late 80's & early 90's However, up until 1989, the 224 was an Uxbridge route, so it may well of been a DD off the 226 she used to see. Then again, when the current 224 was reintroduced in 1990, it used Metrobuses for a while until being converted to MA operation.

On routes K2 and 665, I can't see a problem because if my memory serves me right the double deck route 211 used to go round Berrylands on the same routing with Metrobuses in the early 1980's. As to now route E11 goes round some very narrow roads between Greenford and West Ealing, and is regularly blocked by badly parked vehicles especially in Copley Close. I personally would not like to drive anything bigger than the "SDE" type short darts currently allocated to the route. Also as a help I remember Leatherhead garage having Volvo city buses and B10M decker so allocated at 14' 9" and 14 ' 10" respectively, with a 14' 6" bridge right next to the garage. Solution: fit these buses with low profile tyres so buses could fit under the bridge!

I believe the L class ECW Olympians new to London Transport had low profile tyres which made them come out at 14'2'' instead of 14'5''?

Correction: 470 cannot use DDs for the entire route despite that peculiar login. There is a low bridge in the Cheam area that is 3metres-something. I can't believe I've not realised earlier. The one in Ewell is still fine, went underneath it on rail rep a few times too 😂

I'm in the middle of monitoring the 324. Looking already at the start, there are low trees and telephone wires down Old Church Lane, which I think may restrict any usage of one. I will edit this post if there are any additions, but iirc part of this route used to be the 972 which had double deckers.

Sorry for the long wait for an update. I’ve added in a few suggestions from Red Express (thanks again) on the ‘B’ routes but I clearly have lots more work to do, so in the absence of further suggestion I will look at routes one by one over the weeks ahead

Just for a few corrections
U2 is actually fully capable of double deck vehicles
331 is completely incapable, low trees on White Hill and Low Trees on Copse Wood Way
And H13 is fully capable as well, they only park the cars on one side of the road.

Regarding H13, does that include the small road up to St. Vincents?

Just for a few corrections U2 is actually fully capable of double deck vehicles Even the Ryefield Avenue - Leybourne Road - Grosvenor Crescent parts. So U2, confirmed when direct via Windsor Avenue, Ryefield Avenue needs to be tested. And even the small bit to St Vincent's is fine
