Thanks for that as I may need to go to Kingston soon. I find the place bewildering enough without diversions on top. I'll never understand why I can't fathom Kingston. I can get the geographic "feel" for almost anywhere with little effort but Kingston - arrrrgh! I can't even understand the council's diversions as if I follow them on a map they just stop and make no sense.

I'm still waiting for Ed Daveys double decker trains to make an appearance

Buses 139, 328 and C11 diverted away northbound from West Hampstead for the next eight weeks. No obvious explanation given, but it looks like they are finally working on the new Overground station entrance on West End Lane.
Buses 139 and 328 diverted before West Hampstead station into Broadhurst Gardens to Finchley Road Station (as per C11 southbound), and then up the Finchley Road (as the 13) to Golders Green.
C11 not serving Canfield Gardens but continuing north on Finchley Road to West End Lane, down to West End Green and back to line of route. Never known buses to run down West End Lane between Finchley Road and West End Green before, I think it must be a first.

Thameslink rail replacement buses run along that section of West End Lane on departure from West Hampstead towards St Pancras - a little-used service that runs when Thameslink trains aren't stopping at Kentish Town.

Any idea where the 485 will terminate?

Any idea where the 485 will terminate? No. Nothing on the TfL site nor H&F Council's site.

Another update, buses expected to return to normal Wednesday afternoon www.kingston.gov.uk/info/200382/go_programme/1273/wheatfield_way_area/2BUT : From Wednesday August 15 until Wednesday September 15 works will commence on upgrading junctions at Wheatfield Way and Fairfield North Then goes on to say ..... traffic is expected to flow slower than usual.... (states obvious) I'm bemused by the timing reference as apparently the quiet summer period extends to 15 September in the eyes of TfL and traffic planners, same reasoning as used since July (do TfL staff all get 8 week summer holidays as this appears to be the thinking)

44, 77, and 270 were on a small diversion via Wimbledon Road and Somerstown due to an accident on Garratt Lane.

Due to what I believe are roadworks underneath Herne Hill Railway Bridge (its the only logical explanation I’ve got), Routes 37, 68, 468 & N68 are on diversion away from the area:
Route 37 between Brixton & West Dulwich via Brixton Road, Gresham Road, Coldharbour Lane & then either Herne Hill Road or Denmark Hill & Red Post Hill
Routes 68, 468 & N68 between Herne Hill & Camberwell via Dulwich Road, Brixton Water Lane (Morval Road & Dalberg Road towards Herne Hill), Effra Road, St. Matthews Road (towards Camberwell), Brixton Hill (towards Camberwell), Brixton Road, Gresham Road & Coldharbour Lane
Meanwhile, the 322 is also diverted away but from Atlantic Road & Railton Road via the 3 & 196.

Buses on diversion from both Lordship Lane in Tottenham and Lordship Lane in Dulwich, due to two seperate RTAs. The relevant buses for the Dulwich one are diverted via East Dulwich Road and Barry Road.

201 & 127 disrupted on Streatham Road due to a burst water pipe. Side roads were gridlocked earlier today due to everyone trying to get around the burst pipe

102, 184 and 299 s/b all diverted away from Brownlow Road (south of A406 junction) because of roadworks. N/B jnys unaffected. 102 and 299 run along the A406 and I assume they hook at a left at Bounds Green Road and then line of route from Bounds Green Station. The 184 loops at Arnos Grove Station and heads via 232 to A406 and the 221 to line of route. Means a normally unserved section of the North Circ currently has some TfL bus routes on it. This is the second bit of the A406 to gain a non stop bus service given the W3 and W8 diversions between Silver Street and Cambridge Roundabout.
