Tunnel Control will be undertaking maintenance works which will result in closing the southbound tunnel
bore.
Route 108 and N108 will operate a split service either side of Blackwall Tunnel during these works
North side - Stratford to Canning Town

From East India Dock Road at Bazely Street, ahead East India Dock Road, left Canning town Off slip,
take 4th exit at Canning Town Roundabout in to Canning Town Bus Station and alight all passengers at
the alighting point. Buses to stand opposite bus stop D stand W1
Route 108, N108 towards Stratford International
From Canning Town Bus Station serve stop E, exit the bus station and take the 2nd exit at Canning
Town Roundabout onto East India Dock Road, ahead East India Dock Road to line of route.
South Side - North Greenwich to Lewisham
Buses to operate between North Greenwich and Lewisham

Alight all passengers at stop E in North Greenwich Bus Station, then stand within the bus station

City Road is closed at the junction with East Road due to a burst water main. The northbound 141 that I was on diverted via Old Street, Kingsland Road and Downham Road, but the left turn into Downham Road is very tight - our bus couldn't manage it in one, and its leader had to mount the kerb and was millimetres away from scraping a bollard, so I doubt this will be the official diversion. Englefield Road is probably easier.

From 3:00 this morning for the next two weeks, Streatham High Road southbound carriageway is shut between Becmead Avenue & Prentis Road. All southbound buses are diverted via Leigham Court Road & Streatham Common North Side before returning to Streatham High Road.
All I’m going to say is avoid Leigham Court Road and the unreliable 417 because both will suffer during the works
