Collier Row to Romford is linked by; 365,247, 294,375,175 and 252. This seems peachy until you realise that you don't have many options as might at first glance appear. Going from Collier Row in a direction that doesn't touch Romford you have one option 247 to Hainault and Barkingside, or 375 every 90 minutes to Havering -atte-Bower and Passingford Bridge. The others terminate in Collier Row, 252, 175,365,294, and all go through Romford before of course going to different destinations. The 62 could be extended from Marks Gate to Collier Row to create a nice link. If you want to be pedantic you could say you can't even get to Chase Cross from Collier Row, 175 turns off before to go to Hillrise Estate. So that leaves the infrequent 375 as the only option to get to Chase Cross if you want to catch the 499 to Harold Hill. The residents of Havering -atte-Bower have no evening service or Sunday one either and it's a long walk up that hill from Chase Cross to Havering Green. I wouldn't mind seeing the 375 withdrawn and the 103 replacing it with an extension from Chase Cross perhaps one journey an hour or even maintaining the 90 minute frequency, but to include evenings and Sundays.

Only the 252 terminates at Colliers Row - the 175 terminates at Hillrise Estate and does serve Chase Cross even if it's down the road from the 103's terminus (the distance is minimal at best) & the 294 & 365 terminate at Havering Park. For a small area, Colliers Row has a number of different links though which many places would absolutely love though I agree that none go westwards besides the 247. Replacing the 375 with the 103 is overkill even with one journey an hour or at the current 90 min frequency - while there is some good demand along there, the single deckers are more than adequate for that route.

I certainly agree with you about extending the 62 to Collier Row or even Chase Cross or Harold Hill, seems an obvious missing link. Likewise I agree about extending one bus an hour on the 103 to Passingford Bridge replacing the 375, a regular hourly service at no extra cost.
