From Saturday 4th April, Falcon Coaches will take over operation of Epsom local routes E5, E16 and 408, and Metrobus will take on the E9/E10. Assuming the timetables remain broadly similar, PVRs appear to be as follows.
E5: 1 vehicle E9/10: 2 vehicles (interworked) E16: 1 vehicle 408: 2 vehicles
My quick calculations suggest a PVR of 4 for Falcon Coaches and 2 for Metrobus.
Falcon are believed to be acquiring new Euro VI vehicles for their routes.

Pretty sure it’s the former Tellings Golden Miller management team that ran Fulwell (now the abellio garage). They sold out to national express but did a great job.

Patronage on all their services appears to be up, with clean modern buses, a reliable service and friendly staff.

I think Metrobus will continue to use 6287-6289 for these services along with the 318 until replacement vehicles are eventually ordered. The 21 should therefore see more E200's on it

I think Falcon got some from ADL new dealer stock last time, the stock buses are white so they just add the logos and stripes.

I believe you to be correct : others of Falcon’s ‘461’ batch went to White Bus Service.

Falcon Coaches' Kingston to Addlestone route 461 is being extended to/from St Peter's Hospital, over the route of the current 431 (which will be withdrawn as a result), from Saturday 23rd May. Also from that date, Kingston to Brooklands routes 514 and 515 will be withdrawn west of Hersham. They will instead form a circular service over the remaining roads currently served - the 514 clockwise and the 515 anticlockwise. Each will run every two hours, so maintaining an hourly service over the Kingston, Surbiton and Thames Ditton section. This will bring the PVR down from three to two, presumably due to being council contracts that will require more expensive new/retrofitted Euro VI vehicles from October. The Hersham, Weybridge, Brooklands and Addlestone section will be replaced by extending the Xcel Leisure Centre to Hersham route 564 as far as Brooklands.
The revisions see no change to the combined PVR - just a shuffle of resources between routes. For passengers, the 461 is purely benefitial on all counts, and the 514/5 see a handful of direct journey opportunities removed but largely I don't think will have too much of an adverse effect on most.
Current PVRs 431 - 1 461 - 5 514/5 - 3 564 - 1 TOTAL: 10
Future PVRs 461 - 6 514/5 - 2 564 - 2 TOTAL: 10

Edward Thomas have been running the 862 for a few years now. No idea what they use on it though. I know they have at least one B7TL in the fleet (a former London General WVL) which I think is used on the 868. I assume the 862 requires a single-decker.

There have been at least three low-floor vehicles in the fleet in recent times.
- YN03 WRP (Scania Omnicity) - R258 KRG (ALX300-bodied B10BLE) - LF52 ZPG (Gemini-bodied B7TL)
Of these though, the former two ran the 85a and 85b routes (taken over by White Bus last September), and the third I think generally does the 868. Perhaps the single deckers have remained in the fleet and now do the 862. A coach could potentially have previously done the 862 until beginning of this year when PSVAR came into force for them, so use of the ALX300 or Omnicity now surplus to requirements since September would make sense.
