For me it’s these routes
SOUTH EAST LONDON: 53: Plumstead to Whitehall 453: Deptford to Marylebone
SOUTH LONDON: 68: West Norwood to Euston 468: South Croydon to Elephant & Castle X68: West Croydon to Russell Square
SOUTH WEST LONDON: 14: Putney Heath to Warren Street 74: Putney to Baker Street
WEST LONDON: 207: Hayes By Pass to Shepherd’s Bush 427: Uxbridge to Acton 607: Uxbridge to Shepherd’s Bush
NORTH WEST LONDON: 18: Sudbury to Euston
NORTH LONDON: 43: Friern Barney to London Bridge
NORTH EAST LONDON: 38: Clapton Pond to Victoria 73: Stoke Newington to Oxford Street
EAST LONDON: 8: Bow Church to Tottenham Court Road 25: Ilford to City Thameslink
Should a tube style map be created to highlight these radial routes?

Switch the 68 with 109 for South London yes the 109 should be added to the list, but the 68/468 are major routes on though

To be honest I'm a bit confused on what is truly defined as a flagship route, whether it's based on it's being a somewhat trunk route or it being a high-profile route with operators.

I generally go by routes like the 25 & 53, they start at the centre of London or near it like the 109 & 207 routes do, and end their journey in the suburbs generally. Trunk routes basically, although I think I may not have the 14 or 74 routes for SW London trunk routes

Key trunk route is probably better name then flagship route but I get the gist. There did used to be a spider style map in a central London guide with only a few routes. I seen to recall the 3, 8, 15, 24, 94 139, 159 and 453 being on it. You could produce one for all london with routes like the 68/468, 159/109, 25/86, 207/607, 237, 93, 208, 53.

I’ve edited the thread title, sorry for causing confusion with my initial post.

Good idea I would choose the 18, 25, 43, 53/453, 68/468/X68, 91, 109, 207/427/607 The 50/60 could also go on such a map, since they do sort of run parallel to one another, the 50 being Stockwell to Croydon and the 60 Being Streatham to Old Coulsdon. The inner routes such as the 68 and 453 could have the solid coloured lines while the outer versions of those routes eg the 53 & 468 could have the same colours but with a white strip in the middle
