So my beloved Gunners are sitting 2nd - nicely in time for a trip to Anfield next week Loving VAR screwing Mancheating City over as well Meanwhile, the overreaction to Chelsea still continues - it's absolutely pathetic personally. They played excellent first half and then dropped off a little second half - it's going to take them time but for me, they'll still finish above Utd

Pleasantly surprised by my team winning at Old Trafford, I'd have been more than happy with a point before kick off, and I'll be the first to acknowledge that we had a bit of good fortune along the way.

Saw my beloved Chelsea beat Brighton today, the first Chelsea game I've been to this season.
Thoughts: The new team which Lampard is building still very much feels a work in progress. It shows promise, but is still questionable at times.
The defence still looks pretty shaky, and is certainly an area for improvement. There were times where a felt we gave them too much space to attack, as well as some very good shooting opportunities. I was dreading a free kick Brighton had in a promising location for a cross, however thankfully it was dealty with. A huge relief when one considers that set pieces have been the team's achillies heel lately, especially in the game against Liverpool.
Going forward it was a frustrating watch. Players got in promising positions, but the team lacks any cutting edge. I felt the team were, generally, too content to just build up slowly, and make ample sideways passes. I found it agonising to see time after time, players would be in great positions to shoot, but instead passed it sideways, killing the momentum of the attack, and giving the Brighton defenders time to get back. Furthermore, there is a lack of willingness to hit a long ball to players in great positions. They really struggled to carve open the Brighton defence, time after time good chances were wasted. Thankfully we still managed to open up their defence on a few occasions, but not enough.
It was quite funny how we broke through with a penalty. I was expecting a penalty to open the scoring in what had been a cagey game. The team looked better going forward after that goal, and brining Hudson Odoi on was a good choice. The second goal was a great move to carve open the Brighton defence. Its just a shame some chances were squandered, and we struggled to break through the defence.

Oh, and after the game I got the 295 to Hammersmith. It was a painfully slow crawl on VWH2132, which took 36 minutes, pretty apalling for such a short journey.

The main hold up was between Fulham Palace Road and Fulham Cross, but I guess with Hammersmith Bridge closed and Chelsea playing at home you have the perfect storm.

It's weird seeing West Ham in 3rd and Man U not even in the Top 10 Though as the old joke goes West Ham will come down with the Christmas decorations as things will even out later Nice to see Spurs still win with just 10 men. Something has to be done about the unrest and let the players who want to leave just go in the January window, and if Poch fields weak teams like he did at Colchester, I can't see him lasting long in the job

Spurs lost 3-0 to Brighton Pochettino has to go The gift that keeps on giving - putting rivalries to one side, I actually don't think Pochettino is the issue - I think your players are the issue and particularly your vindictive and Arsenal obsessed chairman who is holding your club back just like Kroenke does with us. Pochettino has said on numerous occasions that he needs more money to sort the squad out but your chairman refuses to do so - either he is lieing about the stadium construction cost or he is tight fisted and couldn't less about your team progressing. Selling Trippier was a mistake, especially when he is being covered by Walker-Peters who isn't ready and Aurier who is a joke. Dier is merely a body, how he is still there is beyond me whilst you should of sold your contract rebels and replaced them in the summer. Lloris has been error prone for ages now and Kane is ironically someone else holding you guys back - sell him and rake that money bringing in better quality and strength in depth

Granted, the stadium is fantastic, Contactless tech everywhere, 48 restaurants and bars (?!!) NFL contract to bring in a few more bucks but if gates start to drop, Levy will be forced to buy some players in. Lots of unrest with players who wanted to leave told they can't. Only in football can that nonsense happen. Imagine if that happened in a normal job. You see a better paying role but aren't allowed to leave until the manager says so. I would stop scanning expensive items on the till / deliberately put good food at the front of the shelves not the back if that was me The unrest has poisoned the team, even then, Poch made a lot of noise about one of the Manchester teams or moving abroad which was foolish when it came to nought, so no wonder the players have switched off. So much so, Levy's threatening to dock wages as if to bring them into line. It's like facing Redundancy if your 123 bus breaks down in service

Will Arsenal get shot of Emery? It will be a shock if Pochettino rocks up there, now the Special One is at Spurs. Apparently some key players are stalling on signing new contracts with the current boss in charge. It was nice to see Spurs back to winning ways - granted, it was only West Ham, but they have to stop leaking goals. They threw away a 3 nil lead Let's see how they deal with Olympiakos, and then whoever's next in the PL. Seeing Pochettino at Arsenal will be just as weird as Mourinho at Spurs now

Seeing Pochettino at Arsenal will be just as weird as Mourinho at Spurs now Moanrinho's reign at Spurs will end in tears, think it was disgraceful sacking Pochettino a few months after taking them to a Champions League final especially when it was the players who downed tools as well as that awful chairman who is only ever interested in what we do rather than improving his own team. As for Emery, his contract apparently runs out in the summer so he should get that time especially considering he is picking up the pieces from Wenger and he had plenty of time yet didn't rectify the issues
