TfL buses are locked at 1.50. Non TFL buses have all sorts of higher fares but nicer outer-london links like getting from Romford - Woolwich using an X80 (and some TfL routes)

TfL (and London Buses prior) have newer cleaner¹ buses that are usually replaced every 5 to 10 years. On the flip side (especially with us enthusiasts) that means some of our favourite types leave the capital at such a young age, eg. London General's PDL Tridents, EVL class B7TLs and NV class Volvo B10Ms...to name a few. Because of that I never got to drive an NV in service as Stockwell and Merton had them for an even shorter time than the five-plus years they were at Sutton, Putney and New Cross.
¹ - for the most part euro6 or euro6-adapted buses
