It's been a while since I was last at Crews Hill Station but from what I can remember there's nothing there apart from the garden centre which is virtually next door. There's a Geoff Marshall video....... youtu.be/6t9gDj1Ub00There's a residential area to the south of the station where the W10 terminates. Exactly - it's mostly about connecting the Golf Ride area to the station.

Yes that was my point and I can't see much justification for extending it to the station which is a short walk from Golf Ride and I would think people further down the route would go to Enfield for a train to London.

It's not a short walk for everyone. As I say, I think there is a dimly-lit narrow footpath connecting Golf Ride and Cattlegate Road, but I wouldn't like to use it in the hours of darkness. Plus not everyone is heading to or coming back from central London, and Crews Hill station really is significantly closer to this residential area than Enfield Chase is. I imagine the numerous garden centres along Cattlegate Road and Theobalds Park Road also make popular weekend destinations for those living to the south of them.

It wouldn't be too difficult to implement some sort of terminus at the facility, even if it's a simple loop around at the station & back to Golf Ride to stand.

SB200 single deckers would be ideal (to encourage Social Distancing so we aren't too squashed together on a Streetlite)

I can't see anywhere of bus gate or narrow popr on Fox Lane on the google street view as the route 456 doesn't service on that road. I do think you mean Firs Lane? I had seen a wide narrow pope at Firs Lane Shops area on google street view.

The traffic island by Carterhatch Lane/Willow Road has been modified to allow the 456 directly to turn right onto Willow Road and that was done when I passed there on a 191 just before Christmas.

Apparently, the route may possibly be introduced once the fixed bus stops are built. I just think TFL postponed the introduction due to the complex process with timetable role out. Which means that once the fixed bus stops are completed, they will put the bus number display and the timetable on all bus stop including the currently built bus stops. I just think they chose to do that as it is easier and involves less cost.
For when the route will be introduced. I was told by people in Go Ahead that it has been postponed until later this year. It can make sense in some way as it matches the completion date of the fixed bus stops which is the first half of the year ( June ). ( For how I got the information on the bus stops completion date, I was told by the guy in charge of the fixed bus stops from Enfield Council, TFL is not responsible for the bus stops, Enfield Council is )
From all of this it is likely the 456 will be introduced around June possibly, depending if the fixed bus stops completion.

The 456 seems to be doing very well - props to whoever came up with the idea. Such a shame there are sour residents on the other hand, but let's hope they don't impact the service (I saw a petition to stop it, let's hope they give up and let people enjoy the service!)
