I thought I'd let you share any significant memories arising for you from the run-up to Christmas 2019.  Ideally I want as few reflections of bus operations here as possible. I shall be buying and writing some Christmas cards tomorrow, or I should say later today ie Sunday. Anyway, over to you now ....  |

I think everyone’s most memorable memory this year will be Snoggle’s time on this forum. A delicate soul taken too soon..

The ending of another decade, which seemed quicker than the noughties, which was quicker than the 90s, which was quicker than the 80s,....

The ending of another decade, which seemed quicker than the noughties, which was quicker than the 90s, which was quicker than the 80s,.... It really is scary how time speeds up the more you age!
Hard to believe we are going into the 20s! at least the 20,30s ,40s sounds better than the noughties or tens  It's been a funny year which seems to have been all about Brexit with vote after vote, I just hope the result of the election is straightforward next week and we don't end up with a hung parliament.

Due to social news for Christmas and General Election news, I have other preoccupations and am leaving bus news to one side. My highlight so far is in the post below. I wish you all a very merry Christmas, and shall see you on 28th, but may be back only for this thread sooner. |

Our work social last Saturday was great. Despite the clique in our team, a kind-hearted girl asked me to dance.  I enjoyed meeting several from other teams too. It was getting a bit late when it finished just after 1am. I therefore reluctantly declined an invite to karaoke, but I was touched to be invited by someone I'd only just met!  Unlike recent years, it is unusual for my job to get better just ahead of Christmas. |
