N607 on NX207:a new weekend only night service running between Holborn and Uxbridge. Via: N207 to Uxbridge. Purpose: to act as relief for the N207. Does the N207 really need any relief? I gathered the opposite in fact. Potential for some frequency trims.

I think a full 24hr service should come back to the 274, and also be introduced on the 307 (especially if it doesn't get its weekend service brought back automatically with the night tube resumption in question).
Both these routes are very useful orbital services, for inner north London and outer north London respectively, and running them all night would allow people to change from other radial night buses (or the night tube) to reach areas where the walking distance is too far from where these stop. Eg to New Barnet, East Barnet, western part of High Barnet and eastern parts of Enfield/Brimsdown (307), and Primrose Hill and the eastern part of St John's Wood (274).
Also if the N20 extension is to be made permanent, it needs to stop at the stops in between Barnet Church and Barnet Hospital rather than running express between them as it does currently. Having a night route passing the areas round Wood Street but not letting people on and off is deeply unfair, not to mention confusing.

I don’t think the 274 would be useful with a night service between Camden and Baker Street since its just very rich housing and during the daytime is already slightly quiet so definitely not demand in the night. The N27 is an alternative and has a more direct routing, so if anything the N27 extended to Islington, Angel via the 274 from Camden Town may be more adequate.

I agree, the 274 did have a night service once but it was withdrawn about 10 years ago because of poor usage, buses were often empty.

The other idea behind it and that I think it would be useful for is getting back from Camden Town at night, to Caledonian Road and other places, without having to go into central London and back out again, as Camden Town is/was a popular night-time destination. But I agree that a night 307 is more of a priority because the walking distances from the current network to places like New Barnet, the eastern part of Enfield Town or Brimsdown are much longer.

So, I would send 102 down to Willesden to have golders green-willesden link at night. Only problem is not a metroline route so may cause issues. But no.1 option is to have 260 do this link. 52 small extension to vauxhall at night to link kensington, notting hill, grove and willesden, so it can incorporate 452 links as well.

Same with the 168 and 349 Agree with the post above, Epsom doesn't need a night bus really. At most it could be extended to Belmont to cover the full 280 N86 should be re-routed to Upminster with a 24hr 174 to serve Dagenham and Harold Hill instead Redhill - Hampstead Heath seems unnecessarily long, plus why spend resources on buses going all the way to Redhill at night, especially when the 405 currently only runs from about 6am - 12am

In comparison, Streatham is pretty quiet at night The current 24 hour 37 is fine as it is and if it ran as you suggested, it would be restricted to single deckers which isn’t ideal for the 37’s section
