I thought that the boundary was the junction between Anerley Hill, Crystal Palace Parade, Westow Hill & Westow Street? That's the roundabout I believe he is referring to - before the one way system was introduced, there was a roundabout at that junction rather than traffic lights and it was how the 3 would turn around as there was no right turn from the bus station into Crystal Palace Parade. The 227 in those days stood in the same place as the 63 (then 363 later on), 122 & 202 The four boroughs (Bromley, Croydon, Lambeth & Southwark) used to meet at said roundabout with the Croydon/Lambeth boundary splitting the road between Crystal Palace & Leigham Court Road between the two boroughs but that was re-aligned roughly 10 or so years ago and Lambeth now has full control of Crown Dale & Crown Lane with Croydon having full control of Central Hill & Westow Hill Ah, never knew that. Thought busaholic was refering to the roundabout with Fountain Drive towards Sydenham

Thought busaholic was refering to the roundabout with Fountain Drive towards Sydenham I'm afraid I've always had a tendency to live in the past somewhat: less scary than the future in some ways. My past included a spell working for Bromley borough mobile library service, and one of our weekly stops was only fifty yards or so from that roundabout. Woe betide any pesky customers who disturbed my watching the buses through the window! Lambeth and Croydon operated a joint public library just round the corner, so ours wan't well used, but it was kept for PR reasons.

You can get five boroughs on the 47 - Hackney, the City, Southwark, Lewisham, Greenwich (two stops), and back into Lewisham.
The Deptford Bridge bus stand is in Greenwich borough, but the 453 drops off and picks up in Lewisham, so I guess that would only count for four.
