My thoughts are with her family and loved ones at this difficult time This really is such devastating news, only 40 years old that's no age at all. Always be kind you never know what's going on in someones life ever. A life taken far too soon. R.I.P

I thought it was a cruel joke at first. She will be sorely missed. Even after she stepped down from presenting the winter series, I had always thought that she would return in time for the summer series regardless of the outcome of her court case, as the show really isn't the same without her presenting. She had been the face of Love Island for the past few years. Unfortunately following her death, I can't see a future for Love Island anymore and I wouldn’t be surprised if Love Island is axed once the current season finishes.

I don't think Love Island will go - it's one of ITV's most watched shows and rakes in money through various means. I suspect current presenter Laura will get the gig full time

It was good to see that they did cancel last nights episode though as an act of respect. It's a huge shame to see this happen, I remember watching her rise on Strictly and then presenting X Factor, although the haters were already well present by then and I know towards the end of her X Factor stint Syco had to make sure she didn't have access to her phone. What is sad is that she is not the first and certainly won't be the last

If there is one thing you should do today then it should be to listen to Laura Whitmore talk about her friend. Such a poignant and Imporant message all from the heart. www.bbc.co.uk/sounds/play/m000ffr8

One unfortunate death and ITV pull the plug Love Island three death's but it's still on our screens

I never said her unfortunate death was caused by Love Island but I was only saying why was Jeremy Kyle pulled after one death and love island had three if you include Caroline

Caroline Flacks death has nothing to do with Love Island for starters so why should it be pulled? I never said her unfortunate death was caused by Love Island but I was only saying why was Jeremy Kyle pulled after one death and love island had three if you include Caroline The Jeremy Kyle show was pulled (wrongly IMO) because of someone who died not long after appearing on the show and apparently, their death was meant to be linked to that appearance. Caroline's death has nothing to do with Love Island so it's not three deaths relating to the show - it's an unfortunate coincidence. The deaths of Mike & Sophie who were contestants on Love Island apparently have correlation with their appearance on the program.

I blame the press rather than Love Island because of the way they treated her (mainly the red tops) when she was at court just before Christmas

Really saddened about the death of Caroline. I do think the media and social media has a lot to answer for nowadays it's too easy for people to make comments online without realising the damage it can causes.
My personal view is Love Island is damaged now and should at least be rested for a while, I know it's not directly linked to what happened but if anything just to give time to reflect.
