The Jeremy Kyle show was pulled (wrongly IMO) because of someone who died not long after appearing on the show and apparently, their death was meant to be linked to that appearance. Caroline's death has nothing to do with Love Island so it's not three deaths relating to the show - it's an unfortunate coincidence. The deaths of Mike & Sophie who were contestants on Love Island apparently have correlation with their appearance on the program. I blame the press rather than Love Island because of the way they treated her (mainly the red tops) when she was at court just before Christmas Indeed, I'd also blame those nasty keyboard warriors as well on how they have treated on Caroline especially after her friend Laura Whitmore very emotionally talked about her this morning on BBC Radio 5 Live

Pretty shocked and saddened by this news. I knew Caroline Flack from watching CBBC's TMI programme on Saturday mornings. Having grown up in the Caribbean till I was 12, we had tv shows mostly influenced by America where Saturday morning kids tv is a big thing. I only felt a similar vibe when watching her, Sam & Mark on TMI and somehow I was comforted when she was on screen.
Haven't avidly watched her since then but obviously have seen her in drips and drabs as she's been scattered over tv be it presenting or in panel shows, but she was a great presenter who was multi-talented and her great personality shone through every broadcast she's ever done. There are definitely lessons to be learnt about the welfare of those vulnerable on social media and figures in the public eye and how all parties (mainly media) deal with people who are struggling mentally; but for now, rest in peace Caroline and sending my love to her family & friends in this difficult time.

Really saddened about the death of Caroline. I do think the media and social media has a lot to answer for nowadays it's too easy for people to make comments online without realising the damage it can causes. My personal view is Love Island is damaged now and should at least be rested for a while, I know it's not directly linked to what happened but if anything just to give time to reflect. Exactly this! Social media has given certain people a platform to spread hate/unkindness something you know they wouldn't say to someones face. I think this qoute from "three billboards outside ebbing, missouri" is a really good one. “Because through love comes calm and through calm comes thought. It's kinda all you need. And you definitely don't need hate. Hate never solved nothing, but calm did. And thought did. Try it just for a change.”

Statement from ITV:
"Many people at ITV knew Caroline well and held her in great affection.
"All of us are absolutely devastated at this tragic news.
"After careful consultation between Caroline's representatives and the Love Island production team and given how close we still are to the news of Caroline's tragic death we have decided not to broadcast tonight's Love Island out of respect for Caroline's family.
"Love Island will return tomorrow night which will include a tribute to Caroline who will be forever in our hearts."

I think that several things could have led to the death of Caroline Flack like example the upcoming trial, losing her Love Island job, being harassed by the media, harassed by people on social media and maybe other things.
