I guess when the 25 new BYD ADL electric buses are delivered in few weeks time, it will effectively make 25 existing buses surplus Last time I looked (and I don’t follow Stagecoach actively) there were 53 omnicitites remaining, so about half of these must be vulnerable. 15001-12, 14-16, 19, 23, 36-46, 76, 79, 86, 91, 97, 98, 100-110, 112, 114-120 But it may be financially better to offload some 10-11 year old E400s instead of the older omnicities, there was quite a big batch introduced after Stagecoach reacquired it 11 years ago (time flies, doesn’t seem like 11 years) Like Arriva offloaded T288-300 as they have some life in them but the older ones are staying to the end of the contract before scrapped, may be the same with Stagecoach's Omnicities.

They won't be scrapped? Not gonna lie I would disagree with you. Reason being that whilst some buses have been offloaded than older examples (which in the case of the 428 makes sense because remember we can't predict what will happen regarding reductions) and also what happened with 1093/1094 on the 210 they were likely in the interest of provincial operators (I wouldn't be surprised to see the 160s Ts moved on in the Arriva fleet outside of London) and in the case of the Omnicities, other Stagecoach operations I believe found them very good buses to acquire (down in Herne Bay especially) so I do imagine they will be sold on. Plus I think they might be leased & they are also not as common as other examples of bus in the fleet.

As for the Scanias, I don't think they are planning to replace any of them until at least when the 248's tender is up September next year and there isn't new buses on order for Stagecoach other than the ones for the 160 & 180 for now.

Regarding the top statement that would be a sensible idea. How many B5TLs are on loan?

Two currently (13808 & 13812) on loan to London and also with 13813 on loan to Devon as City Sightseeing Cambridge is running a reduced serivce for this year.

Does the service only require a TVR of 8? (City Sightseeing London) - thought it might've been a bit more than that.

City Sightseeing London is currently running a every 30 mins serivce with a full loop taking 150 Minutes so it would need 5 buses out on the road, I would be expecting more buses to be added for next year for sightseeing buses in general for London as more tourists would be visiting London with the International travel is now slowly being reopened.

What’s temporarily being allocated to the 180 until the electrics arrive?

What’s temporarily being allocated to the 180 until the electrics arrive? If you register and log in on LVF you can see.

What’s temporarily being allocated to the 180 until the electrics arrive? If you register and log in on LVF you can see. I see that it’s mainly Enviro 400s and Enviro 400Hs. But I wanted to know what was the official main allocation for the 180 until the electrics arrive? Is the Enviro 400s and Enviro 400 MMCs the official main allocations? I thought that the 180 was getting Wright Eclipse Gemini 3s on loan from Tower Transit. What moved to PD to free up the Enviro 400s and Enviro 400 MMCs for the 180 and where did the Enviro 400s and Enviro 400 MMCs come from?

Routes 53, 96, 122, 161, 177, 422 and 472. The garage has always tended to mix their vehicles. All the loaned buses from Tower Transit went to Catford. Buses have transferred from there and West Ham (including four of the 6 buses with LED displays). I think I RM on the side of 1 bus last week.
