11351 has just come up on the N25 at Oxford Circus, who's ready for day 2?
Oddly, I would've thought the one central bound would've showed up first

The 192 felt wrong with GAL, so it was good when it came home to Arriva, like the W4 had... I guess we won't see Football Coming Home this year, so we will have to make do with bus routes Well done to Stagecoach getting the 25 back, though I thought the logo's would have been updated beforehand lol @ football coming home. Glad they didn't update the logos, new one is poo. Yeah people haven't taken to their new "Windows 10 loading circle" logo that well We'll get used to it... it is a lazy refresh after 20 years, similar to Arriva when they copied Sharps Bedrooms' font and rearranged the Wheel into an 'A'

The changeover when route have 24hr operation can be interesting as occasionally, I assume due to poor communication, the overlap is not seemless. The 25 (TT) to N25 (SLN) was fine and without hiccup. My big hope with this change is that it brings the 25, 86 & 425 under one operators remit as service along the Romford Road ever since the 425 was extended has been awful as all 3 routes run together, the 25 should of kept its Mile En shorts as it enabled better headway where as you cannot control headway for 3 different routes all together. This being said I am hopeful of Stagecoach perhaps having roadside controllers to maintain headway between Stratford & Ilford spacing buses out a little. Also observation at Stratford: Literally everyone that gets off the N86 wants to get on a N25/25 into town, imo cut the N86 and just extend the required amount of N25s to Harold Hill, again the headway argument comes back as the N86 and N25 always manage to run together so by removing the N86 you result in a better service.

The issue along Romford Road is the 86 runs at every 6, the 25 runs at every 8 and the 425 at every 10. It's impossible to space them out evenly without affecting their headways where they all run on their own.

I wonder how this compares with the Seven Sisters to Edmonton Green corridor as that is a another major corridor with all the routes are now under one operator with the 149, 259, 279 & 349 all are Arriva routes and all with different frequency with the 149 runs every 6 mins, 259 runs every 8-9 mins, 279 runs at every 7 mins and the 349 runs 10 mins.

Hence my opposition of the 425 being extended to Ilford, if it has stayed at Stratford you would have a 2 routes running every 6 mins b=meaning it would be far more possible to even them out.

You make a very good point. The 425 North of Mile End now is almost non-existent due to the polar opposite the rest of the route is.

First impressions was the lack of a capital A, but then after it grew on me. The Stagecoach one still has not grown on me and just looks cheap, non corporate and looks as though it is 30 years out of date.

Does anyone know if the most recent WH blinds have 277 on them? I know the older sets uses to have it.
I believe it was reported here that the buses transferring to WH will receive new blinds so hope for some odd workings on other routes.

Will be nice for WH's DD routes to have a mix of E400H MMCs and Smart Hybrids if allocations are flexible

Basically added together there are 24 bph betwen Ilford and Stratford. Whislt that may be bus every 2.5 mins on paper in reality we know all 3 routes can arrive together and run in convoy together. As we know the real reason for those freqs is to provide enough cacapcity within an hour long period with little consideration for how distributed the buses are.

Makes the scheduling incredibly challenging having extensions to the route every 20/30 minutes fitting into a route that runs every 8 minutes.

Looking at the blind change videos of a WH MMC, that the latest WH 2018 blindset which has the 474 on them, doesn't have the 277 on the blinds - youtu.be/MK0nZTdVqDs?t=299

Indeed, hopefully they bring about some flexibility ! E400s on the 97 and 241 back in the day non-existent, as well as Scanias on the 158 (until the last month of operation!). Having the hybrids on the 97 will make for a very nice journey on empty roads - just like when the N26 is maxed out on the same stretch using the Cities
