The YJ24 BZLs have entered service on the 276. YJ24 are the Metrocities, temporarily replacing the E200s apparently. LJ24s are the BZLs. Seems like on LVF, the BZLs don't have the 'e' letter to show that the displays are electric. Perhaps it will be added soon. LVF is tracking some of 66xxx’s as 67xxx’s LK24 ZKF and LK24 ZKS have just gone past and are tracking as 67016 and 66040 respectively.

So does this mean that there were no Metrocities introduced alongside the BZLs on the 276?

66032 tracking as 67020 66030 tracking as 67018 That would mean no Metrocities are out on the 276 it’s all BZLs

The LJ24 BZLs have entered service on the 276. Yaaaay was hoping these would enter service soon. Next time I have a spare Sunday I promised myself I’ll do a full e2e on the 276. Haven’t ridden the route for around 7 years!

Seen some videos of the new BZLs today, they look absolutely fantastic, can’t wait to get a ride on one
And finally … a new bus with a perfectly programmed Johnston destination screen 🤩🤩 thank heavens for the McKenna screens. How TfL are allowing these other poorly programmed screens with incorrect fonts to be in service is beyond me

Pedant alert. That notice commemorates it having operated with Stagecoach 1991-2024. While it has operated from TL throughout that time, and resisted transfer to KB, it has only been Stagecoach in 1994-2006 and 2010-24.

How TfL are allowing these other poorly programmed screens with incorrect fonts to be in service is beyond me I would imagine they're allowed as McKennas are known to be inferior reliability wise to the Hanovers, I believe it's why RATP at least switched over to Hanover. Hanover screens can be programmed to look just as good as the McKenna ones regardless as was the case with the WH MMCs.

How TfL are allowing these other poorly programmed screens with incorrect fonts to be in service is beyond me The Abellio Caetanos at WL have had all their screens re-programmed (not sure about 1515 given it's been missing for ages, but the rest have been done at WL)

I wish NS put the Diesel MMCs on the N86 all nights, they kinda suit the route with 10336 doing the honors tonight.

How TfL are allowing these other poorly programmed screens with incorrect fonts to be in service is beyond me Unfortunately there are no longer any bus people at TfL who care about the LED displays. McKenna are making use of the excellent work by Doug Rose to create their smart blind displays.
