Didn't mean rude way but do you really think management just freely let other buses on a route to spice things up? Put it like this. As long as the bus is in order, compliant and available then I'm pretty sure they won't mind. In their head they're thinking as long as a bus is on the road that's one less problem to deal with in terms of ensuring their targets are met. Now if for some reason it can't navigate around the route then other vehicles would be available. Prime example in the W19 go ahead days ex 364 10.8m buses would appear on the route albeit it was tight on some roads but as long as a vehicle was providing a service that's all there is to it. Yes that's a daily occurrence at most garages, not quite the same as just to spice things up but I now think you didn't mean it in a direct way and I mistook it

The only thing I will say is that LI is one of the better garages for allocations! Yes you get the odd strays but not as bad as other garages. For some reason people get a bit excited about LI and odd workings when in reality they are more likely at other Stagecoach garages.

All of the 9.6m Optare Solos have been withdrawn. is the 309 now gaining the W16 enviro 200 MMCs instead of the W11 Enviro 200 MMCs?

Canteen talk is W12 is getting the E100EV’s due to its re route from Walthamstow Village If this is the case, which sections of the new W12 are preventing anything longer than 9m from being used? Left turn from Rensburg Road to Salop Road (in Coppermill Lane area) is the tightest turn. Although I suspect there will be or would have been a route test recently as a car parking space has been taken out to make the turn easier.

I am unsure why this is the case! Looking on LVF most of the MMCs moved a while back some as far back as May. They are all a similar age anyway so not much difference unless the seating capacity is different.

Any idea what Stagecoach have sent up to Silverstone this weekend for the British Grand Prix? Seen a few MMC’s passing the Wellington Straight on the TV coverage, though I believe first have the contract for other services to and from Silverstone?

It's the same length and bus model so I think it's the same.

Tidies up the fleet a little and replaces a couple of earlier ones (from W19) which needed to go to the 346 contract…
