A picture of the SL3's future allocation, this is NOT a demonstrator because Stagecoach have ordered these before the demonstrator could be released. The SL3 contract doesn't start until next February, it looks pretty much complete so I'm not sure if it is actually the SL3 allocation.

The SL3 was the only Stagecoach route to have electrics on order that fitted the number of these vehicles ordered so the only other plausible theories are there is another order that hasn't been made public or this is a demonstrator though I don't think the ltter is the case as looking at the bus, it does seem fitted with Stagecoach interior but then, we've seen demonstrators arrive with the operators interior in past cases, particularly with Abellio & Go-Ahead London.

LV24 EUY currently out in service on the 247.
Wonder if they are going to move the 242 allocation to the 247?
Will the pvr of the 242 mean there will be enough buses to cover?

I do think someone from NS mentioned that the 247's allocation will be the 242's Electroliners until HK's been wired up and ready to accomodate them. In terms of the 247, it's likely that they could fully convert it electric with them, but it also depends if they have enough chargers for the route already installed. There are around 15-16 electroliners for the 242, so there should be enough to make the 247's PVR of 11 buses.

What makes you think this is not a London spec demonstration bus? Because I got the image from someone at ADL, who also says that it's not a demonstrator. Though everyone knows that it's potential canteen talk, it seems to have a Stagecoach TfL interior, which once again could potentially be dismissed given there has been demonstrators in the past with an operator's interior, a clear example is the BZL on the 213 with Go Ahead London. There was also a conversation where it was believed that a single door E400 EV was the demonstrator, and this bus shown was very much part of the actual order. But now that I've actually thought about it, it COULD be a demonstrator, but it's more likely that it's for the SL3. After all, it's the first batch for London so they might be a bit quicker with production, and we don't know when they started producing these buses.

It starts in January, and we don't know whether TB will be ready for electrification by then, they are expecting E100 EVs for the B14, BZLs for the 314 and this batch of buses. Whilst you could be right, I still think that this could potentially be for the SL3, or at least trialled on the route.

Would you not leave the top half of the bus blank to allow the white wrap for the Superloop brand if they were the actual buses and then apply the 'I'm electric' stickers?

No. It doesn't matter what colour you wrap.

Not necessarily, if the existing fleet were re-painted and able to accomodate the white wrap, I don't see why these buses can't!
