Regarding the 246, the ex-323 E200s would be a good fit as an initial temporary allocation.
I expect the 246 would later receive some 13reg E200s from the 256, once the 174's electrics are in service to release E400s to the 256. The 246 doesn't necessarily need a spare due to the pool of E200s from the 314 available, so could take 4 of the 13reg.
This leaves 8 from the 256's batch for the 296 - which was awarded with a PVR of 8, so needs 1 spare. The 296 is already allocated 1 E200MMC at NS, which I think was originally ordered for the 549, so this could stay on the 296. This means there is no need to keep any of the existing 11reg E200s, though these could perhaps stay in the fleet to replace older examples, e.g. on the P4.

36308 brings Stagecoach's 12 year spell on route 354 to a close. Will be interesting to see Metrobus back on it tomorrow.

Interesting how 246 is using two double decks this morning, is that normal?
202s are kinda nice but too bad not Stagecoach.

I just meant the 11reg E200s currently at NS on the 296 (as the 366 still has a large batch of 11reg at BK). Though the P4 could probably take the remaining 11reg E200s from NS, alongside the existing 59/11reg at TL and maybe the ex-323 59reg, allowing the older 58/09reg E200s to be withdrawn.

I'll be sure to get the front seats on the top deck when I head out of Biggin Hill. MB drivers will miss this scenic route.

I doubt it will even take that long. There are plenty of single deckers at TB to use Deckers on the 246 are temporary - in the future deckers will probably be a last resort only Well in that case I better make the most of it. Apologies - maybe it is! The TT on the excellent Robert Munster site said not earlier in the week. It’s since been updated

Per latest LOTs TLB Stagecoach will be borrowing 15 ADEs from RATP for 173 from 17 October 40410-13, 15, 17, 19, 25, 55-61 Stagecoaches new BYD-ADL should start to arrive mid October, so ADEs are covering whilst drivers trained, infrastructure finished and buses delivered ADE40455-61 were previously with Abellio for the 285, now they're off to Stagecoach for the 173. It's not often you get a London bus loaned to multiple operators. It will be very strange seeing ADEs in East London, you'll get alot of confused passengers thinking they're on the wrong bus. It also means that these ADEs were loaned out for a route serving Heathrow Airport, and will now be loaned out for a route near London City Airport.

Was thinking a bit about the 173 and hiring in of buses! Is this the first time Stagecoach have had to hire in buses? the only other time I can remember is when they used ex Metroline buses when IBUS was being installed. I could and probably will be very wrong but just can't see them hiring the current 173 buses. If this do they will probably return to DX in a better condition (I say this in jest). Per latest LOTs TLB Stagecoach will be borrowing 15 ADEs from RATP for 173 from 17 October 40410-13, 15, 17, 19, 25, 55-61 Stagecoaches new BYD-ADL should start to arrive mid October, so ADEs are covering whilst drivers trained, infrastructure finished and buses delivered Did drive past BK the other day and there didn't seem to be much change since I last posted a snap on here with the wires still out, will pass again tomorrow so I'll see if anything has changed but I doubt much would have happened in the space of a week. Interesting to see they are still due Mid-October, that's a lot sooner than the initial 2021 prediction that was thrown around. I imagine in this case the biggest hold back will be the installation of the chargers along with the training of drivers. WH has chargers so should the buses arrive before the chargers at BK are completed I would imagine they'll be stored there.
