Now that the BZLs from the D7 have moved over to the 58 permanently, can someone confirm what the allocations for the 58, 277 and D7 now are? Additionally when HK is wired up, which route is bound to get BZLs first? The 277 or D7?

Did the 25 have any Articulated Scania Omncitys during it bendy bus days? Not that I can remember I believe there was one Scania demonstrator, but that was on the 207. If one ever appeared, it wod have been a demonstrator.

There's a picture of it at Ilford library but I can't find it at the moment.

Open to corrections here but I believe the allocations are: 58:86181-86197 D7:86198-86207 277/N277:86208-86225 And then 86226 for W13 DD Allocation As for which HK route is electrified first, I would think it would be D7, as the 277 needs to move in from WH.

I guess it also depends when WH is closing in 2025 (I am assuming that’s now confirmed) as the 323 and 277 might take priority as they will be moving into HK.

Did the 25 have any Articulated Scania Omncitys during it bendy bus days? Others have answered the 25 question but in case your interested, there are also production articulated Scania Omnicitys at Heathrow Airport new to Menzies in 2010 and still running at Heathrow Airport with Transdev Airport Services

Currently on 86181 on the 58. One word: exceptional. By far and away my favourite electric double decker so far (from a passenger POV) I know remarks have been made about whether the BZL DD would be sluggish or not due to its relatively low power, I can categorically tell you now that it isn’t. The driver is flooring it and it’s flying Absolutely 100% agree with everything you said here. They are quite simply the best buses London has had for some time. I just hope more get ordered in the future.

I have to say the BZLs on the 58 arent so bad, allbeit boring. But at least the fans on it keep it cooler in the hot weather! Definitely will miss the B9s alot, having been through 3 operators at the same garage. (First, Tower & Stagey) But lets just enjoy them while we can You're seriously saying the BZLs are boring and yet you'll miss the crusty and very basic B9s? Wow. Just wow.

From my pov B9TLs tend to be excellent buses, and theyve been the order on the 58 since they replaced the Plaxton Presidents, so theyre quite memorable for me (I’m a diesel person myself haha) The new BZLs are definitely an upgrade for ordinary passengers though, just less in terms of some enthusiasts view. Depends on your pov tbf! Opinion is opinion

Guess you've not been on a B9TL when driven in high revs? Not sure whats crusty and basic about a B9TL myself, would need some sort of explanation on that?
