Roll on the 26 & 35 announcements, although they would have to do really well to grab either against existing vehicle bids, though timescales should allow an Arriva existing vehicle bid. Thought AEs saving grace could have been the 133 ... but given the changes proposed, seems unlikely now. If Arriva did win both routes, they would probably be awarded as 'Double deck (details TBC)'. I really do hope Arriva bid for the 35, as Arriva don't seem to bid for everything especially routes that pass their own doorstep and if AE is to remain open, then Arriva better bidding for routes nearby when they're up for tender, I'm certain they would've bidded for the 26. I actually predict the next few tender results we're going to see a lot TBCs for routes that will need vehicle replacing for their new contracts including the outer London routes. They do bid for routes that do not pass their own doorstep. Just have not been successful in gaining many of them. There have been various routes around the Shoreditch/Liverpool St area bid for, just not gained.

Going to WN to the 144 or W3 maybe? could be used for the 41 or 123, releasing DWs such as the sole unrefurbished 3 series DW from the refurb float last year. EN38 is back at AR and never moved to WN, as was posted in the transfer thread. I assume EN19 has been withdrawn now?

EN38 was a loan for the day on the W4, I am not sure who put it down as a transfer. I believe [AR] was going to give one of the original E200's but the E200MMC was available and that went across. This was down to ENN47 steering problems, ENN44 electrical problems and I think it was ENN40 breaking down

Now with W4's PVR uptick that may not be possible if anything else packs up. Not sure who put down EN38 as a transfer, obviously it was a borrow for a few days.

I noticed yesterday that route 34 was mainly frogface HV but I also saw a couple of VHs ex-Stagecoach.
Route 102 had more of a mix of earlier HV, SW & T. I boarded SW3 at Brent Cross but found it such a bad ride that I abandoned plans to stay on to East Finchley and got off at Golders Green. (The older diesel Wright VW with Metroline on route 83 was much better).
Although I missed out on a classic HV, this has whet my appetite for one on route 301, likely in October. When I next do Wood Green & Enfield, potentially next July, it should be easy to locate a refurb ex Stagecoach example by then.

A handful have been done with the Arriva moquette. MetrolineGA1511 I assume you mean next month rather than 2023? The way Sadiq and TfL are going, there may not be any bus routes left by next year, so don’t leave it too late

I like your sense of humour about next July. A rumour I've heard is that most of the network in the area will be axed, but just route 318 with its ageing ENs will remain.

That would be wonderful, and to bring back other E200's of the same vintage to run other routes. How about even converting the 243 and 123 as well to ENX, plenty spare London spec ones. The sound of them around Bruce Grove area would be music to my ears.

Arriva would be running extra's on route 29 tomorrow 6th June and possibly on Tuesday 7th June. This would be in the morning and evening peak between Wood Green and Finsbury Park. It would be a pvr of 4 buses, 2 from [CT] and two from [BN]. Bus types depends on availability.
Other operators have been asked to run along other certain sections and I think it would have the usual's from Ensign covering others.

Talking of route 29, I saw a few unrefurbished HVs yesterday still with the Hybrid logo on them. This showed them up for not being electric as buses on routes 46, 134 & 214 are.
