Arriva would be running extra's on route 29 tomorrow 6th June and possibly on Tuesday 7th June. This would be in the morning and evening peak between Wood Green and Finsbury Park. It would be a pvr of 4 buses, 2 from [CT] and two from [BN]. Bus types depends on availability. Other operators have been asked to run along other certain sections and I think it would have the usual's from Ensign covering others. Buses used are HV240, HV239, LT983, LT972 Today's route 29 extra buses between wood green and Finsbury park for morning peak is HV243, LT732, LT827, LT981. Most bus loadings are severely packed with some buses got standing loads on the upper deck. Although some trains started running as normal from after 5am many stations were closed with trains in effect running as ghost trains. Even when it was posted as a good service after 6am this was misleading as a lot of the stations were not opened until 8am

Surprised no info has come out yet with regards vehicles cascades re pvr reductions at AR, considering it is just 2 days away now.
Still, sure by this time next week, all will have become apparent.

The 243 and 341 had reductions, but I don't know how many buses that would release. They might retain them as spares for the 41 / 123 as those DWs are hammered every day. Been a little quieter on the 243 today, but we will see how it pans out during the week. I don't know which bright spark at the council added an extra bin right where the 243's turn out of Redvers Road to head towards Bruce Grove, I see many an HV just miss it as they near the kerb (Haringey still struggle to keep the streets clean regardless )

If Arriva was to get E400FCEV’s what would they be coded as do you reckon? Someone suggested HD Hydrogen Decker but that would be break their current system
E.g HA: Hybrid Alexander HT: Hybrid Trident HV: Hybrid Volvo
Etc
What does everyone else think?

I’ve just realised if TfL goes ahead with discounting the 78 then AE loses another route and is left with one route. Which can’t be good for Arriva London.

At the same time a hole opens at nearby CT....Think I saw that a decision on AE was dependent on some tender results (presuming the 26) - if not I expect the 254 will move into CT and AE closes.

Wonder what Arriva would do. They share the garage with HCT Group (AE and HK are the same place). Either Arriva would reallocate the remaining work to another garage or use AE as an outstation.

Amazing to think you could now fit the 38,73 and 254 into CT just shows how low the PVR is on these once major routes.

Does that mean HV4 will be scrapped now as it is 13 years old probably won't be were repairing and replaced by a spare from the 243,341 or HV57.

Cant imagine it has a high book value, so probably an economic write off. Not seen an extinguished photo, but damage does not look too severe for a fire, but in all reality, it is probably an ex-PCV. Imagine there will be some commercial negotiations between TfL, the vehicle owner and Arriva.

Saw a glimpse of a photo earlier and it matches your description and have heard on one of the Facebook groups it’s apparently going to be written off though how true this is I don’t know
