It is the River Lea and the Lea Valley. LV was based on Leeside Road, and believe Arriva referred to it as Lee Valley, after the road rather than the river. Lee and Lea are interchangeable... for a little trivia it takes its name from the Celtic god Lug, and begins its journey from a stream near Luton I used to live near Lee Conservancy Road in Homerton. There was a Lee Valley bus company who used to run the 34, forerunner to Arriva To muddy the waters, Lee Valley Park covers much of the area, from Waltham Abbey to Tottenham, near Lea Valley Tesco (spelt differently) PS ENR7 made her 318 debut today Thank you, appreciate titbits of info like this! Did not realise the Lee spelling was more widely used.

EDIT: probably silly question as it’s not a contract renewal.

Interested to see the inteirors of these. When I saw another photo of one the seats didn't look like the high-backed version of the normal Civic seats but might just be the angles Usually the other way around but these will be a much higher specification than the recent Arriva new bus deliveries outside London.

Sorry I meant is it spelled Lea Valley or Lee Valley? It is the River Lea and the Lea Valley. LV was based on Leeside Road, and believe Arriva referred to it as Lee Valley, after the road rather than the river. Hence Leaside Buses ! River Lea(e) flows into the Thames at Canning Town. By that point it’s quite unpleasant. The confluence has silted up somewhat. Trinity Buoy wharf is a nice spot though.

Another shot Arriva London will welcome 50 new zero emission electric vehicles into our operation this year, further supporting our strategic ambitions to deliver a sustainable and environmentally friendly bus network. The new vehicles, which will arrive into our Arriva Enfield, Arriva Brixton Tramshed and Arriva Thornton Heath bus garages, are expected to be in service by September this year and feature a number of specifications that will improve the customer experience, including onboard lighting, wood-effect flooring, hi-resolution destination blinds, digital customer information screens, and USB charging points. Arriva London Commercial Director, Graham Davies said: “Welcoming the new Wrightbus electric fleet into our Enfield and Thornton Heath garages, whilst further strengthening our Brixton based fleet, is an exciting milestone in our continued journey to operating a greener, decarbonised bus network across London. We are delighted to once again be working in partnership with Wrightbus and Zenobe on this project to support TfL’s long-term vision." To ensure the new vehicles can bring the same environmentally friendly and efficient bus operation to Enfield and Thornton Heath as is already in place across our fully electric Brixton Tramshed operation, an innovative programme of works – managed by Zenobe - will begin imminently to complete electrification infrastructure at both depots. Steven Meersman, Co-Founder and Director at Zenobē, said: “14 of these vehicles will be out on the roads as part of our ongoing partnership with Arriva Brixton Tramshed. Through our agreement we guarantee to deliver the charging required to the fleet of Wrightbus vehicles and support the performance of the batteries on them, and we're pleased to extend this service to the new vehicles. "At Arriva Enfield and Arriva Thornton Heath we will design and build charging infrastructure at both depots, including the integration of our smart charging software to ensure Arriva London’s rapidly growing fleet is optimised to be both economically and environmentally sustainable. We are also pleased to incorporate Wrightbus vehicles into our technology agnostic charging optimisation software for the first time, demonstrating its agile interoperability with multiple vehicle and hardware types.” Upskilling our drivers and engineersAs well as improving the on-board customer experience, supporting sustainability, and delivering cleaner air across North and South London, the new electric fleet also presents unique opportunities to upskill our Arriva London drivers and engineers, who will be a vital part of the successful rollout and ongoing management of the 50 buses. Ian Gillott, Managing Director (Parts and Services) at Wrightbus, said: "It has been a real team effort between Wrightbus and Arriva to deliver these exciting and significant projects and it is fantastic to see Arriva taking this vital and progressive step to decarbonise public transport to help the UK hit its ambitious net zero targets. The StreetDeck Electroliner BEV is the world's most efficient double deck battery-electric bus, with tests conducted by vehicle testing group UTAC showing the Streetdeck consumed around half the energy as its closest BEV double deck UK rival. "Not only is it more energy-efficient, but according to Ultra Low Emissions Bus Scheme (ULEB) calculations, the StreetDeck Electroliner also produces 86% less CO2 per km than the ZEMO Euro6 Diesel baseline."

So this confirms that the 417 will officially run from the tram shed on Brixton Hill as opposed to the main site

I have 51. 16 for the 307, and 35 for the South London routes. Has one been dropped? Also worryingly, no mention of TC - Croydon
