All 10 SWs were in use today, shocker! 9/10 still out now. SW1 only for a few hours however this bus never manages many on the road.

What if the SWs are kept at AD and 10 Gemini 3s are released for a new tender?

What if the SWs are kept at AD and 10 Gemini 3s are released for a new tender? I think if they are kept at AD, they’ll form part of the 329s contract which means next contract it’ll have a half complaint fleet until 2030 could bring the cost down for AD to retain it with SWs+ new electrics.

Complaint might be the word if those same drivers still see the SW's around at AD after tomorrow They could go to Tottenham for the 41, the route is mostly 20 zones anyway I very much doubt they'll go to DT and the 99 There will probably be Busical Chairs to shift some of the older buses at other garages

The 340 has been operated by Arriva garages since Luton & District won the route in 1991. Despite the less lengthy association with AD I'm sure there are many who will have to get used to not seeing it in blue and white.
The last bus this evening will be AD 109, worked by HV380 LC67AHE. 0030 departure from Harrow.

I noticed on the 158 timetable in tfl website the Sunday night service, after the 0320 departure from Chingford Mount the next bus is at 0500. Is this actually the case?

The 340 had mostly used 14reg HVs recently, so despite passing from Arriva to RATP, the interiors will change from ex-Stagecoach to ex-Tower Transit. Will be interesting to see how RATP refurbish the BU16 VHs, being the first of the ex-TT fleet to be done. The VMH refurbishment began under Tower Transit, so only the seat covers were swapped - but the VHs potentially could get turqoise handrails.

Likely not given the timetable. A bus cannot qualify as 24 hours unless there is minimum one departure every hour. Usual admin sloppiness from TfL I suspect.

SW2, SW6 and SW9 have been spotted at TC this evening. Wonder what they’re doing there?

SW2, SW6 and SW9 have been spotted at TC this evening. Wonder what they’re doing there? Interestingly all 3 were in service at AD today, the last two until after 8.00pm. Seems hasty, at least.

That’s what I’m thinking aswell, just when I thought they were finally leaving London service. Could replace the remaining 59reg or some of the 10reg DW’s on the 60. Time will tell if they are just there only for a pit stop or maintenance

SW2, SW6 and SW9 have been spotted at TC this evening. Wonder what they’re doing there? I have a strong feeling that the SWs will all eventually enter service at South Croydon Garage.
