LT467 is out on SL1/2 route testing. Seen in Walthamstow with TfL and Arriva staff on board and also seen at Forest Road coming from Ilford Wouldn't the SL1 more likely use HVs, since it will initially be split from the 34 contract? LT's from the company has been used loads of times over the years to route test various routes, some which do end up getting LT's. Some are Arriva routes, others are non Arriva routes.

Today I’m pleased to share a significant and exciting announcement about the future of our company. Our shareholder, Deutsche Bahn (DB), has entered into an agreement with a company called I Squared Capital - a global infrastructure manager - to purchase the whole of the Arriva Group.
Under DB, we have grown our reputation as one of the leading providers of passenger transport across Europe and built a strong platform for future growth. Today’s announcement is an important step towards unlocking the next phase of our sustainable growth plan with support and investment from I Squared.
I Squared recognises the significant potential of our business and sees an opportunity to invest in us to expand and improve our services, as well as work with us to decarbonise our fleets to help shape a more sustainable future. Their agreement to purchase Arriva is a strong vote of confidence in our business and our growth potential, and I am confident we will benefit from their track record of investing in businesses to grow them for the long-term.
Importantly, I Squared recognises that our people are our greatest asset and will be central to developing the business in the years to come. As a result, all roles will transfer over on completion of the sale, which is expected at the latest in April 2024; our employment terms and conditions, as well as our various pension arrangements will be unchanged when the sale concludes, and our corporate headquarters will remain in the UK. What has made us strong as a group, a great place to work and a trusted partner to the many clients we work with across Europe will remain unchanged as a result of today’s announcement.
Over recent years, we have made significant progress toward our strategic goal to make Arriva a stronger, more competitive business for the long-term and I am proud of everything that has been achieved. Today, we are more client and customer focused than ever before; we have a more streamlined business, having sold our operations in Denmark, Portugal, Poland Bus, Serbia and Sweden; we operate a more disciplined approach to managing our performance; and we are becoming more commercially robust in our approach to tendering and contract management.
All of this has enabled us to return to operating profit following a challenging pandemic, while continuing to remain focused on putting customers at the heart of our services. But there is much more we can achieve together, and with the support of I Squared we can position Arriva for even greater long-term success.
I realise that you may have questions and reactions to today’s announcement and will be wondering what this means for you. Your local leaders and line managers will be able to support you with those questions, as well as provide updates as DB gets closer to completing the transaction next year, but I can assure you that the deal signed today includes the purchase of the entire Arriva Group, including all our operating business in 10 countries.
Until the transaction is completed, it remains business as usual for all of us, and we will continue to operate under the ownership of DB. We should all remain focused on implementing our 2023 business plans and providing our customers and clients with the high-quality services they have come to expect from us.
I, and the rest of the Management Board, feel very optimistic and I hope you are able to share that feeling today. We should all feel very excited about our future with I Squared.

Arriva have kept the 50, 194, 250, 255, 289, 410 & 689 and won the 663 and SL2.
All new electrics except 410 & SL2. 289 to go decker!

A little bit of good news. The cat got let out of the bag yesterday about the SL2, it was hillarious as the writing was on the wall and everyone thought Stagecoach had it.

Been suggested elsewhere by an Arriva employee that 194 & 410 will swap garage allocations. Plausible and makes sense if so.

There is going to be a significant upchange over the next coming months with other plans been changed due to planned investment changes. It would also mean development work at [WN] would also be changed.

Overall this makes sense as N is still used as an outstation to park 7 buses. 50 & 194 TBC will run from Thornton Heath the notice specifically mentions Thornton Heath Garage. Neither Brixton or Croydon are mentioned. I have a feeling the 198 may be moved to TC as well if the plan is to move the 50 to TH…
